Neighbor's tree fell over last night due to the severe winds, so we had a sweet power outage. Spent this morning cutting up a tree that fell on the brother in-law's car.
I'm so sick of this god damn year.

Got some clothes and stuff, slippers, a bluetooth CD clock radio, a couple of nutcrackers (I collect them), and a Carista to activate a few features in the Blue Meanie.

Nice knife set! Those look pretty sharp!
My gifts this year are surprisingly similar to
Some Saxx glitches along with work clothes, socks and a shirt, a Micro-Can Ross-Tech cable for service/tweaks on the VWs (self-gifted), nice bottles of wine and scotch.
We kept things in budget and somewhat practical this year.

Merry Christmas, y’all! It’s been a busy weekend on the road but we had a great Christmas Eve/morning at a little cabin on the side of the Grand Canyon. We called/video chatted with a bunch of family and had some wine and cheese and stuff for dinner in our cabin. The views were 5/7.
We don’t do much in the way of gifts, especially since and I are really giving each other this trip for Christmas, but I got a couple tools for working on my bikes and some clothes
A more exciting gift was from bossbro; he evidently approached our executive team, touting that we have all worked really hard this year and while COVID was great for the company’s residential division, it was terrible for us in commercial. Given that, most of us have made little to no commission in 2020. He was able to get each of the five of us $5k bonuses! It’s certainly not a year’s commission but this was extremely generous and unexpected. that he was willing to ask them for that and that they agreed to do it.

Been really busy driving and stuff, so I’m days behind on pics, but here are a few from. Death Valley on 12/23.
My photos aren’t very good here, it’s really hard to capture what this crazy place looks like...

Very cool of your bossbro to do that for you. Sounds like you are in a good place if you want to just work/autopilot and do a good job while focusing on your hobbies and personal life.D Griff wrote: ↑Sun Dec 27, 2020 7:39 am Merry Christmas, y’all!
