My neck hurt so badly today, out of nowhere, that I did absolutely nothing all day and spent a couple of hours laying in the fetal position crying on the living room floor. I'M SO GRATEFUL!

I don’t think fetal position would help your neck thotroyguitar wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 11:00 pm My neck hurt so badly today, out of nowhere, that I did absolutely nothing all day and spent a couple of hours laying in the fetal position crying on the living room floor. I'M SO GRATEFUL!

Nothing helps, but fetal position with my head on my bicep hurts less than most other options.razr390 wrote:I don’t think fetal position would help your neck thotroyguitar wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 11:00 pm My neck hurt so badly today, out of nowhere, that I did absolutely nothing all day and spent a couple of hours laying in the fetal position crying on the living room floor. Score!
I need to order more fake beer.
Been trying a bunch of stuff.
The O'Douls Amber is for locally available.
The best stuff is still the Athletic Brewing Co.
but, I have much more to try.

I'm glad fake beer has gotten better lately for those of you who don't/can't drink the real thing.

I try not to bitch too much but today was a really bad day and for no reason whatsoever, I took it easy all week. If I'm going to hurt, I want it to be because I did something really dumb.Melon wrote:troyguitar wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 11:00 pm My neck hurt so badly today, out of nowhere, that I did absolutely nothing all day and spent a couple of hours laying in the fetal position crying on the living room floor. I think you’ve said you’re not interested before, but if you ever want to try out weed to see if the CBD/THC helps you, just let me know.

I think it was on clearance at target for $50 (normally $100). 5/7 purchase
Side note: there’s a real bed in that room now.
As the only published author in a well-known motorcycle publication in the room...

I'm supposed to be training people to use robots today. There are so many peripheral equipment issues around the robot right now that I get to enjoy DFD lyfe and getting caught up with the wifey instead.

I was hoping to go for a 100KM bike ride today, but my ankle is jacked up from crashing Thursday, so I have to rest.
Since I knew I wouldn't need/be able to work as hard today, the wife and I ended up hanging with a couple of my coworkers and I got last night.

Old man is visiting, we were going to do a bike ride until random thunderstorms rolled in. Now drinking and playing Yahtzee, 5/7 day so far.
Tomorrow should be clear for biking

Have you thought about just getting a nice sofa that is at least six feet long? 9 times out of 10 I would rather put a sheet on some decent width/firmness cushions than the almost ALWAYS horrific mattress/support of the pull out sleeper. That's only a bed for one doe.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 11:44 amSmall bedroom, bed won't fit with the desk in there too. Biggest item I could wedge in there would be a thin sleeper sofa.wap wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 11:29 am
So it's a dedicated bedroom? Is a real bed not an option?
Or is it more of an occasional bedroom space and when you don't have guests it's more like an office or maybe a TV room? In that case I'd go with a quality sleeper sofa. But get a good one because the ones can be pretty uncomfortable to actually sleep on.
I'd say an air mattress is more for when you don't really have a spare room of any sort and you need to put up guests in, say, the living room or den, etc.
My worthless, , $.02...

I want to do some biking tomorrow too. Chances are I'll be tied up with the kids for most of the day since Nicole has them all day today. I feel like I am getting fat just working and eating out so much.

This is the only “guest room” we have. Middle room is baby’s. This one has to serve double duty as WFH office and occasional use guest quarters. As such would prefer it can hold 2 people if needed. We have a pretty large couch downstairs already.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Sat Sep 26, 2020 1:51 pmHave you thought about just getting a nice sofa that is at least six feet long? 9 times out of 10 I would rather put a sheet on some decent width/firmness cushions than the almost ALWAYS horrific mattress/support of the pull out sleeper.
