You have to love it to go to that level, IMO... I laugh and point, and will start taking pics of them. Some people are so afraid and believe any bullshit they hear on the news.

I have never understood the car mask wearers other than a generalized belief that they are too lazy to take it on and off.

Only time I’ll do that is when I’m doing Uber and the drives are short enough to warrant it. Otherwise I can’t stand it while I’m driving.

I guess if we begged/bribed people from the wife's work to do stuff then we might be able to do something occasionally, to the tune of at least $100 an evening because NY prices, but otherwise we both just sit home by ourselves. It's generally fine but sometimes it would be nice to have a social life beyond this forum. This place is normally my only social interaction of any kind.

I 100% never hang out with or go out with people from work. I know some might be able to or maybe you have a good friend, but when I’m at home I don’t like to be reminded of work. I would get invited to a bunch of poker nightA, game nights, etc back in DC and I’d never go.

I mean that people from work are the only people we know within 100 miles, so if we were to ever do anything with anyone then it would be with them. But we don't.

Like rationing gas, sugar and other fun stuff in WWII. Unpleasant, but you're not going to win that without a national effort. I can basically avoid crowded indoor spaces so I do. Grocery store/Costco? Late afternoon or evening. Everybody seemingly just has to "get that stuff done" in the morning? So you can get home and turn on the game? Nope.
