Thanks Fappy.

I knew the gutter ones existed. But I did not know about the shingle ones.

You can buy clips that slip under the shingles to hang lights from.

:fancy:

When I put them up on my parent's old house in high school and college, I'd always use clips on the gutters, similar setup that was :thisisfine:
Yea, the gutter clips and the shingle clips both work well. I use both.

Best tip from me, a pro: Just don't do it.

Complete waste of time as you'll just be back out there taking them down before you know it. While you run the lights you are just killing the earth. :gretta:

I enjoy a bit of exterior lighting, :notsure: if I'll get into that next year when we're settled in the :haus: or not, it's kinda :wasteful:

You can do something decent in an hour or two :doe: , NBD to me. I think lights are fun and pretty.

Tri-tip
Eggplant Parmesan
Garlic marshes potatoes
Grilled veggies
Spring mix salad
Holiday pies

Meant to bring a protein bar or scoop of protein since I probably won’t get enough :meat:

:disgust:
I’m sure there are parts of SD that are like that. Lancaster has one little cul-de-sac where they all go all-out like that. I guess it’s cool to take your kids to, but the whole fucking city shows up all month long to walk the street every night.

I'd love to play in the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, they're about the best live music show going anymore. I actually auditioned for a smaller band doing that stuff in PA back in 2012 but didn't get the spot due to living 3 hrs away from the band. Wizards of Winter was the name, super fun.

I’d love to see a TSO show in person. I’ve heard their shows are awesome.

I love lights, too. I don't go that :fullretard: by any means, but I spent a couple of hours putting them up last weekend. I'll post a pic tonight if I :member: .

:dat: We actually bought tickets last year and the show was cancelled due to snow or some :bs: so they refunded us... this year has been too busy/stressful/expensive with the wedding on 12/28 and house purchase that it just didn't make sense to go.

Hopefully 2020!

I get a call 5 minutes after I get home from one of my service writers, telling me one of the other writers was talking to a customer at the counter during the evening rush about his old job during writeup. The customer asked why he left, and he told her “I was fired because I told my boss to suck my dick”.

Then I get a call from another writer a few minutes later telling me the same thing. I call my assistant manager on duty and she tells me she’ll call me right back. When she does, she told me she confirmed it with the customer. Customer is mortified.

I guess he’s getting fired from this job for telling someone he got fired from his last job for telling his boss to suck his dick.

Sent the guy home without pay until Monday, so we can discuss.

I weep for society.

Wow. How far has society fallen?
