Fingers are being pointed, and I'm just trying to keep my neck off the line. I'm not amused.

Probably won't make you feel any better, but this is industry wide right now. Full blown everywhere. I'm really glad that I'm far from the sales side in my current role.[user not found] wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2019 11:17 amIt's the end of the year, car industry is in the formative moments of a tailspin, and profits are falling.

What's the most is that everyone knows the car biz is cyclical, yet when the cycle starts to turn down, everyone loses it.

Michelle spent the weekend in Boston with her dad, so I got to watch Ava. Was nice to have her for the few days. We cuddled lots and she loved my roommate’s cat. Definitely missed having Kai too though.
Pretty cool, michelle and her dad went out to go to the Pats/Chiefs game and got to go down on the field and shit. Chiefs are her dad’s team, so cool for him to get to go watch them win.

She was pestering him pretty bad the night before, so he was pretty over her shit yesterday morning when that picture was taken. But he loves cuddling, so he allowed her to use him as a pillow like that for a bit.CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2019 11:58 amlooks about theSAWCE wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2019 11:56 am Michelle spent the weekend in Boston with her dad, so I got to watch Ava. Downturn has been on the horizon for a while...in fact I'm surprised it's taken this long. It's partially due to forcing sales (incentives, over production, etc)...but everyone should have seen this coming and planned for it.[user not found] wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2019 12:09 pmDetroit wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2019 11:49 am

I've been saying this has been coming for 2 years now. Gas is cheap, we've swung back to and and :herewego:
But no, it's better to bury your head in the sand and just wait for your body to be blown away by
At this point, I just hope the industry survives long enough to see all the olds pushed out.

I don't see how anything other than this is possible? How in the world could the car industry go away?Detroit wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2019 12:12 pmDownturn has been on the horizon for a while...in fact I'm surprised it's taken this long. Even autonomous pods would still have to be manufactured and sold. Those are extremely far off anyway.
