Congrats on getting through the best-worst-best day of your life!razr390 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2019 1:50 am Hello all! Baby was officially born at 7:42 PM last night. Mama had some complications in the form of a postpartum hemorrhage. Not fun. She lost approx 1L of blood throughout the process.
Kudos to modern medicine and the OB and others for literally turning into Navy SEAL Team 6 to make sure mom was taken care of. Baby is fine, mom is being stabilized as we speak.
Her parents flew in yesterday morning and her mom is spending the night with her and baby while her dad and I are at the apartment (2.5 miles away) getting some sleep.
It was pretty surreal to see it happening. Amazing and scary all in one, especially when you factor that I was even helping the staff out by just keeping mom calm throughout the process. She was given a balloon treatment that is clotting the bleeding while also being given IV and uterus contracting medicine to induce her contractions. I think that her being on pitocin for over 24 hours (not continual, but she had 2 of the maximum doses) definitely did not help the circumstances out.
Anyways, back to baby. She is a 7 lb on the dot baby girl. Ten fingers, ten toes, and she is the most adorable thing I’ve laid my eyes on.
Please keep us in your tots and pears for the next few days. Love y’all.

Sex still hasn’t happened with any of the tinder/bumble/hinge gals
Matched with a new gal on hinge this morning though and got a decent conversation going. See if I can swing a date with her this weekend.

WiFi has been shoddy so far but I have a good connection now. Here’s some pics.
View from hotel in Bled Slovenia
Plenta boat. Took it to the island.
The little island with a church.
Bled castle.
Vintgar gorge.
Drive over a mountain pass. Almost got killed by a logging truck. VW polo has no balls.
Toured a giant awesome cave forget the name.
Current status on the Adriatic.

Shit looks incredible JP.
We had a Polo rental in Germany a few years ago. That thing defined dangerously slow. It was so underpowered that you had to rev it up to ~3k and dump the clutch every time to take off...the engine would stall if not. Redlining every gear got old fast.

Why not, indeed?haleyann wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2019 9:52 amThe Forester is cool and all but I need a fun car. Theodore is fun but I don’t see myself driving it that much while I have the Forester, and honestly I want something more fun.
I don’t NEED 2 cars but I have the garage space and I can easily afford it so why not?
Good luck in your search. Keep us posted or make a when you buy something!

Positive sign that you have future plans though.
I texted my guy yesterday, asked him to go to a concert with me Saturday night, he said he had plans, but I’d be “the first to know if anything changes.” Um.... I'm not saving my concert ticket hoping you say last minute you’re coming. Told him it sounds like I need to find another date. Haven’t heard back.
