I had a discussion with couple of friends on how long/far have we driven, so it aspired me to do this thread. Knowing we have a few people who has driven at least half the country, I feel like this is a great thread to discuss our experiences.
Pole is only based on you as the only driver, it doesn't count if you were a passenger and have someone drove the car. It doesn't matter which car.

Here's my top 3:
1) From Home to Miami (est. almost 16 hours ~1,048 miles one way)
2) From Home to Orlando (est. 14 hours ~843 miles) I remember the ETA was 12, but there was a hold-up for almost 2 hours in Georgia
3) From Home to Mt. Snow, Vermont (est. 8 hours and 30 mins ~460 miles) route included driving through Manhattan and Connecticut as my friend and I spend the night in Manhattan

About 2000 miles, NJ -> Charlotte -> Baltimore -> Pittsburgh -> NJ.
Done in 4 days too, IIRC.

Don’t remember the mileage, but drove from Seattle to San Diego. Great trip. Camped at Crater Lake, Lake Tahoe, and then in Big Sur.

Me and my buds did the whole Natchez Trace from here and back on our bikes. Lafayette - Nashville - Lafayette. I think it's about 600 miles. I wanna say we spent 4-5 days total.
Other than that we've gone west to the 3 Twisted Sisters southwest of Austin, TX and back. That's about 9 hours one way and back.

I'd probably plan a stop in Cedar Point to hit up some coasters too.

The longest road trip we took in my :turboyaris: was 4k miles to Grand Canyon, several parks in Utah, Mesa Verde in CO, Santa Fe, NM, and back home through TX, OK, and MO. Was so epic.

Also took a few 3k mile trips to Savannah/Charleston/Wilmington, NC, and Williamsburg, VA/DCm etc.

Not to mention some 2.5k-ish trips to Florida twice to go on 2 cruises, TOTD, and up to northern Minnesota to see the headwaters of the Mississippi.

Also many 200-500 mile trips around the area.

I believe we've done over 20k miles of road trips in the :turboyaris: and about another 12k miles in the wife's Aura.

By myself, probably around 2000-2400 miles round trip a few times. Usually the wife is around too though.

Hmm. Used to do an annual hunting trip to Lake Andes, SD. That’s about 1700 miles round trip. I’ve driven to Philadelphia a few times for work - 1300 miles round trip.

Most of my other round trips are around 700-800 miles. Anything beyond that, I’d prefer to fly.

My dad and I drove to Temecula, CA from home, went through Crater Lake, Lassen, and Yosemite to get there, then hit Disneyland and drove back up the coast on Hwy 1 and 101. Over 2000 miles total. It was the best trip.

My two longest/most memorable were from Charlotte to Los Angeles in five days and Vancouver, BC to Los Angeles in a week (this is so awesome but schedule two weeks for it). I drove all of it on both of those trips in an F550.

I love road tripping, especially in the western states.
