All over really, MD, CO, VT, NY, PA, NJ... been in a whirlwind the past few months and it's been a real hoot!

Climbed some awesome mountains, went to many breweries, saw lots and lots of live music, lost a bunch of weight, back on the diamond after nearly a year off from my shoulder injury, many many wet dreams, rekindled old relationships with long time friends, made new friends, and work is tip top. Life is beautiful. This is the summer of dude.

Except my R now has a CEL haha
:fuckyeah: Good for you.

Also, living that CEL lyfe :aintcare:
I trust you been doing some traveling of your own

:fuckyeah: sounds like a solid summer man.
It almost feels as if summer can actually be something slightly more than just the time in between ski seasons I have been viewing it as...

Highly recommend a Kamado as a do-anything solution. I hated having a separate grill and smoker.
I think I'm going back to a dedicated smoker after consolidating a couple years back.

Actually, no, not yet this year.

Had a bit of a health issue come up earlier this summer.

Easier for searing after smoking, and more space w/o direct over coals placement. I think I want a good offset smoker that will hold more meat than I would normally cook, but may on occasion.

I think the BBQ/Smoker combo is good, but they really don't do both at the top of their game. I think the Kamados are amazing for grilling and even baking smaller stuff, but for multiple racks of ribs or multiple briskets they are a compromise.

Yep, for sure.

It works fantastic for my use, but I never do that much meat at the same time. Also agreed on searing after smoking, pretty tough to do on the Kamado.
