Speaking of if thats even on the subject. My beats headphones were having issues with connectivity, after i connected it, about 20 seconds lighter it shuts right off. A few visits to the Apple store later since Apple now owns beats, it turned out that my headphones were defective, so I got free replacement ones

Fuuuuck. Whole lot of there but you handled it well! Good luck on Monday.razr390 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2019 7:38 pm Speaking of moving....
Today was supposed to be my move in date. I do the move-in inspection and the apartment unit is beyond FUCKED with mold (in the coat closet) and the hallways adjacent to coat closet and AC room. Look at AC and it is fucking pooling water in a tray (FUCKED).
I went back to the leasing office and threw a fit and pulled their OWN LEASE AGREEMENT which stipulates that I was supposed to be provided IN WRITING with a LIST OF ITEMS that identifies EXISTING DAMAGES to the unit. I told them that they breached the lease agreement and demanded they refund me my move-in costs. They agreed and then the property manager (who doesn't work weekends) called and implored me to come back Monday when she is in the office so they can "make it right".
So, silver lining here is that I MAY get a similar floor plan for possibly even cheaper? but I was pretty that I was able to go against a huge property management company and pretty much WIN without threatening legal action and simply DOING MY HOMEWORK.
The worst part is they were so adamant on me getting all my shit done (utilities/internet/renters insurance) SO I CAN MOVE IN BY JUNE 1, and the apartment isn't even READY. Imagine my PREGNANT GF was doing this inspection with me and she was exposed to the mold in the air/on the walls.
HOLY FUCK was today terrible.
Also, Discount Tire installed one of the Michelin Pilot A/S 3+ tires BACKWARDS so I have to go to them first thing Monday morning because everything in Texas closes Sunday because
Also, my MacBook was slowing down the past few days and I went to Apple store and they did a free diagnostic and they said it would be a $95+tax fix for a hard drive bracket that may have gone bad but they re-assured me that I only pay if it fixes the issue. MacBook back up and running again.

Hopefully getting the keys to our apartment in San Antonio today!
2/2 floor plan with 1,130 sq ft, full size washer and dryer for $1,256 base rent. New place gave us a move in special of “first month free” so we gobbled that shit up because it saves us $1,256 that I can save for the UHAUL or moving costs (early lease end at other place)
For comparison we looked at what our current 1/1 with 811 sq ft is renting in Virginia and it is starting at a base rent of $1,840/month.

So I got to Niagara Falls in the afternoon, stopped by just outskirts of Syracuse and holy fucking shit it was cold. I didn't brought anything with me that would keep me warm, so after a nice lunch at Denny's we stopped by the local Dicks sporting goods and bought myself a nice olive green Browning hoodie, almost got the black juan that has murican flag on the back, until it turned to be medium
Buffalo is 55 degrees right now and DC is 68 degrees, sounds like a great start of summer to me.

We move in, and the first night run the dishwasher, and it leaked. Fine, whatever. Call the office the next morning, we head out to do things for the day and they send a maintenance person by while we're gone. We get a call saying that they discovered mold behind the dishwasher and that we weren't allowed back into the apt WE JUST MOVED INTO.
Wife went and they upgraded us to a slightly larger unit for the same price...but it wouldn't be ready for 2 weeks. Wife forced them to pay for us to stay in a fancy extended stay hotel AND give us a daily food stipend AND move ALL of our stuff from the apartment we weren't allowed back into.
2 weeks go by and we get the keys to the new place, all of our furniture placed carefully in the apartment, setup to live in. Ended up being 5/7, but it's important to be very vocal when these sorts of things pop up.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WAFB) - Holy Family Principal Michael Comeau was arrested Thursday, May 30 in Washington, D.C. at a strip club.
According to a police report, officers responded to Archibald’s Gentlemen’s Club in Washington, D.C. for “an intoxicated man refusing to pay his bill.”
Comeau allegedly “was observed standing in the roadway, refusing to move,” according to the police report. It went on to say officers asked Comeau “multiple times to move out of the roadway, but Comeau refused.”
Comeau was arrested for public intoxication and possession of an open container of alcohol. Numerous sources told the 9News Investigators Comeau had a service dog with him at the bar/strip club.
The Catholic school principal also worked as a part-time reserve police officer for the Brusly Police Department. He resigned by text early Friday morning. The Diocese of Baton Rouge released a statement about the incident Friday evening:
