Good mang .......SAWCE wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2019 7:04 pm Phone interview earlier seemed to go well, but hard to read emotion over the phone. Interviewed with the manager of contracts, said I'd hear early next week about a phone or in-person interview with whoever I'd report to as a direct supervisor if I got the job. See what happens.

Went karting this morning. Fastest against the 3 other drivers on track.

Went to breakfast with michelle this morning. Was able to order stuff that was close enough to my normal breakfast. Cleaned the house a bit after that, finished watching season 3 of leftovers finally, then we hit an arm day together at her new gym. Picked up dry cleaning, now getting the washed. Roofs and doors may come off tomorrow depending on how the forecast looks.

so i finally rode on one of those bird electric scooters (people who live in the city knows), they can get a little sketchy to ride at first due to dat electric torque, but goes up to 10 mph, perfect for ing around in the city or too lazy to walk.

lucky story time:
I go to Austin to visit COTA/merch shop and walk away with a hat. I get here and they tell me “no access to store without a ticket” since this is IndyCar weekend. So I get in line to buy one and a family with 2 kids comes to me and says “are you alone? We have an extra ticket” and they hand me it. It’s in Turn 15 premium grandstand...
So, instead of walking away with a hat I get to walk away from today having experienced my first major track event and an IndyCar race! Woot woot!!!

I am in San Antonio for work, but Austin is like 1 hour away so I was gonna go take a “day trip” to explore. Ended up at the indycar race instead due to generous family.dubshow wrote: ↑Sun Mar 24, 2019 2:49 pmyou there for work? awesome story.
