Hm. I dunno I have fun with DJ or a band, it doesn't really matter that much to me. Bad bands though... are bad. Whereas a bad DJ you can almost always correct by telling them which songs to play instead.

Troy you should buy my mountain bike! Would be rad to have one up there in the spring/summer/fall.

I have the legs of a 5'6" guy and the torso of a 6'2" guy to land at 5'10" total height - nothing fits me right without modzzz. That's why I have headroom issues in most cars.

This is something I've been struggling with... It would be so much better but is it really worth $2K?

I've found every wedding with an actual band too be way better.

I'm of 2 minds on that one: If you're going to hire a good DJ with good equipment, then the cost is really pretty close if not the same as a decent band. If you're going to use Spotify or just pay a dude with an ipod $200 to be your DJ, then it's probably not worth the significant extra cost.

We also used a subset of the band for ceremony music and cocktail hour so they provided 3 services. I'd have wanted live performer(s) for the ceremony at a bare minimum even if there was a DJ for the reception so that closed the cost gap a bit too.

I smoked a 7lbs pork butt overnight and finished in the crackpot with some home made sauce this morning. Also a giant crackpot of beans

I like firm bark on my pulled pork and brisket.

Also, when you get a chance try a high heat cook of pork. I don't care for it too much on Brisket, but for porkbutt it works great and your cook is done in 4-5 hours.

How high is high heat? I'm fine with the crockpot. I'm not that good with the smoker yet. I will say the side that was on the crockpot still has a crust/bark on it. I look forward to throwing more things in it this summer. It kinda struggles to keep temperature when it's 20 degrees out.

Donating blood. Gotta thin it out some. Hematocrit was high at 61. Blood pressure was good though.

I’m officially “off” the sauce for a bit. 40 days of PCT drugs though and then I’ll go completely clean for a few weeks after that. This is the longest I’ve been on at like 14 months straight.

Did you have to disclose your chemical history?
