You really shouldn't post about things like that... but robinhood is the name of the game.

Long-term Treasury rates added to their monthlong slide on Tuesday, aggravating a key yield-curve inversion and sending the 10-year yield to its lowest level against the 2-year rate since 2007.

I just have an Ally online savings account. The rate is higher than anywhere else I can find. Currently at 1.9%, but was as high as 2.3% IIRC Also compounded daily which is :notbad: I keep my cash savings stashed there and barely access it other than the occasional deposit.

For the rest of my banking, I use Fidelity Cash Management. Similar to a lot of other online banking systems... $0 ATM fees anywhere (which is soooo rad), some tiny interest rate on the cash you keep in there (which I use for cashflow needs, so there's not usually a lot in it), but my favorite benefit is access to the Fidelity Credit card that gives an unlimited 2% back on everything...deposited directly into your cash management account at the end of each month. That card beats any other card I can find for cash back rewards.

Been a while since I posted in here.

I got 11% + 3.5% from the company going into my 401k
I have my portfolio that's so-so.
And I have a universal life insurance policy that's seeing about $400/yr going into. 4.50% ROI

The rest is :melon: :derp: monies.

Identical 401k scene for me too, brodozer - 11% + 50% company match up to 6% or something. Fidelity. 401k's tend to underperform because people set them and forget them, but if managed, there can be decent returns. 17.94% return YTD and only like 2% 1-year, 8.9% since inception. I also do a Roth IRA w/T Rowe Price and 529 college savings accounts for both daughters, also with T rowe price. The rest of the money gets dumped into the bottomless, unforgiving black hole that is my car.

Anyone buy into their own company’s stocks with their 401k money? Right now I have all of my contributions going to one of the targeted retirement funds, but was thinking about doing maybe 5 or 10% of my contribution into GD stock..

:thankstrump:

Dunno what to do, but we're definitely not buying a :haus: or doing any more spending/traveling in the near future. For the past few months (by accident/laziness really) we have had recurring taxable investments suspended but haven't sold anything already invested.

I guess when things look better we buy in bulk and resume regular investments. Assuming there's anything left to invest in... :doomed:

The sky is falling.

Meanwhile, Fisher Investments is saying this is only a blip and not a full correction. They say it will more than rebound once virus fear/propaganda die down.

:notsure:

My take was virus fear was only a catalyst for an already volatile and unsupported market.
