i think you just don't get the tax deferred benefit. IE you can put in more than 5500, but you would be a fool to.
Our tax guy has me move $6500 to a Roth and the Mrs $5500.

This is a great option and something I will be doing next in my home office. I want to get a couple sets of the motorized legs and grab a couple massive solid "decks" for the tops and build my own L shaped sit/stand desk. Will likely stand at it 90% of the time.troyguitar wrote: ↑Thu Feb 07, 2019 10:56 amStanding desk plus good shoes.KYGTIGuy wrote:Anybody got a office chair suggestions? 200$ range

I just made mine standing only and use the laptop at the dining room table or couch for sitting, but either way is good. Sitting all day is terrible.CorvetteWaxer wrote:This is a great option and something I will be doing next in my home office. Grand Rapids is apparently "furniture city," USA. Lots of manufacturers based here. Got a buddy who works for Haworth who said he could hook me up. I was like sure let me go check the website. Found a great looking chair that was 1500.
I'm sure it's worth it but idk man, no one else will ever see it.

They are definitely nice, but yeah... they cost a lot for a personal purchase.

I've yet to do my W2. I think I print them at work. Yeesh I'm sick of looking at houses. People are still smoking crack on these listings.

I thought about making a zillow/ redfin thread but meh.

I really wanted to move to LA when I had the chance, but man, just couldn't get past how expensive it is. I love the area otherwise...NeonJonny wrote:I've yet to do my W2. I think I print them at work. Yeesh I'm sick of looking at houses. People are still smoking crack on these listings.

Los angeles or Louisiana? Lol. Los angeles is a shithole. Literally cannot think of one good thing about LA. Doyer dogs maybe. Wouldn’t be caught dead there. I mean you very well could be if you aren’t carful.D Griff wrote: ↑Fri Feb 08, 2019 7:04 amI really wanted to move to LA when I had the chance, but man, just couldn't get past how expensive it is. I work in Huntington Beach but commuting sucks. 38 miles to get home.
