Holy fuck that all sounds so good.

I put in my request for the filet at Michelle's dad's company holiday party:
8oz Filet Mignon – coffee & cocoa rub, ancho butter, whipped Yukon potato, local vegetable

:notsure: on the coffee and cocoa rub, but it can't be that bad, right? I'm not a salmon fan, and the chicken option was too much like what I normally eat 3x a day for me to want to do that at a party.
In 4 review. I’m not usually a fan of anything on my steaks aside from a bit of butter and maybe salt and pepper. A good steak doesn’t need seasoning.
That’s how I feel. I looked up some recipes like this and people say the bitter undertones it the coffee and cocoa work well, but we’ll see.

Tax guy isn't really required.

Get an LLC and file a Schedule C 1040.

FWIW, you still get raped on taxes. Business expenses help soften the blow.
No, I need a new tax guy this year - I'm officially out of my wheelhouse when it comes to taxation and figuring it all out, particularly with the wife having a business/being self employed.
Do you know anyone, or do you want some referrals?

I have zero control on how global corporate IT manages their systems. I can't even remove desktop icons for software I never use. My 2 screens are 75% icons.

Still rocking the k2000 that was thrown out at my old job. I'll never go back to ATI after crossing to nvidia.

You know the running programs thingy next to the clock? With the little icons? If I expand that it takes up the entire task bar lol. So much bullshit running in the background.

There is bad and then there is BAD. That's SUPER BAD.
When I worked at GSK. They had a standard corporate computer desktop background image that could not be adjusted. It was the GSK logo over gray. I figured it out, it was a file named desktop.jpg in some folder. So I rewrote the file with a picture of my choosing. I needed IT help for something a program not working or whatever and they needed to take control of my computer. First question was how I got a custom background lol. Second was how I was using internet radio.

Taco Bell has never done that to me. Or Shipotle, surprisingly.

Probably because I eat so much tex-mex style food.
Home made stuff at pot lucks is the only thing that has ever really given me trouble, never restaurant food.

Yeah only things that’s every really gotten me sick was chicken that was much older than I thought it was. Fast food goes in and out with no problems.

I've used the same orange McLaren F1 photo for at least 5 years. :stig:

Yeah, Turbrotax has been my tax guy for a long time, but it didn't handle the multiple states well last year. I hired a local :thankstrump: supporter who gave us a full :thankstrump: sermon before going over our final tax return. I'm not 100% convinced I want to use him again, although he seemed to have done his job well.
Ahh yeah, we don’t have the multiple state issue, but I can imagine that’s a pain in the ass. Jill had a tax “professional” until I fired her last year. Discovered multiple areas where she was :wrong: about deductions.
