Record that I preordered back in July finally shipped last week. No tracking info and it hasn't shown up yet. It came out on a small independent label and I emailed the guy who runs it yesterday to ask for tracking info so I can check on it since I've had mail and packages stolen recently. He just responded saying that for some reason my order didn't get a tracking number saved against it in their system when it went out, so he doesn't have one to give me. Sending me a new copy of the record, with tracking today to make up for it. I'll offer to return one if they both show up, but assuming he won't care to have me send one back, and I'll end up with 2/100 of these that were pressed. If that happens, I'll have my copy to listen to, and then leave a copy in the shrink wrap and see if I can turn it for a small profit in a few years when other people are looking to get a copy and didn't buy one when they were released.

Talked to my buddy with the new supplement line yesterday too. Everything is official and my first batch of free supplements is getting shipped out this morning. A whey isolate, a vegan protein which I won't use regularly but I'll try out a few times so I can at least give honest reviews of how it mixes and tastes, a pump product, and an amino acid based pre workout. Pretty cool. Going forward I should get two things of whey and then either a preworkout or the pump product each month with my $100 "allowance". He doesn't have any weird post requirements for me to be making, just give honest reviews and talk about the products as I see fit. Gonna try to get them over to some local shops too to do demos and stuff to help spread the word about the company.

Yeah man, I'm excited about it. Hopefully it will be mututally beneficial for us and I can help bring in customers to his brand and he'll help get my name out there and alleviate some of the costs of this hobby.
