I was browsing a bit yesteday and realized they have an app. The mobile version of the site works well enough, but I may download the app anyways.

Thanks guys. I was happy to hear the update. Sucks she has to go back on chemo, but hopefully after this cycle things are done and over with. Fingers crossed.

Feeling surprisingly good after those deadlifts last night. Doing them was a bitch though with my belt pinching on my sunburn.

Bought a stringer tank from my gym for ultimate lifter douche points. I'll wear it tonight hitting shoulders.

She's back up to 103lbs, which is still very small for her, but much better than the 90 or so she got down to before surgery. Colorectal appointment today and then one after that with a osteomy bag specialist. Chemo will most likely start up again next week.
Thinking of you and her, hoping she stays strong. Makes my problems seem pretty mild in comparison.

Definitely sounds like solid improvements doe!

She's been handling it like a champ. One of my sisters moved back home with her two kids while her husband does a residency for med school in Santa Barbara, so my mom has been loving that and it definitely lifts her spirits being around the grandkids.

Absolutely, grandparents and grand children belong together! I love watching those dynamics.

In all my years of lifting, I've never actually seen someone working out in one of those.

We tried doing it in the past but George W was threatening to shut down the border if that bill was passed.

I'll snap some tonight. When I was smaller, I always said that I'd buy myself one at 200lbs.. that I'd finally feel big enough to pull it off. Never ended up getting one, and now I'm back under 200  but being this lean and just under 200lbs I'm definitely feeling bigger than I ever did over 200. I really can't wait to grow again after this show.

It's good. At least, she puts on a happy face for all of us to see. I'm sure there are emotions and feelings that I'll never know she has, but she seems happy, especially with her progress and the good follow-up visits post-surgery. They believe they got everything out with surgery, this new round of chemo is just to be safe. Hoping its a quick round, month or so, and then she'll get the all clear and can go back to just getting quarterly, then semi annual check ups to make sure it hasn't come back.

The other tall, bald, bearded dude in our office showed up as Opie from Sons of Anarchy last year for halloween. I have to go to a birthday/halloween party for a bit on Saturday, so I asked if I could use his vest for it. He brought it in today for me and it's actually pretty legit quality. I'll wear my normal black jeans, then a black or white fitted t-shirt and a black beanie. Super easy costume.

What about the motorcycle? Seems like a key part of the costume...
