I was consuming some Asian take out this evening and whilst opening a packet of soy sauce, began to wonder what most people do about sauce packets? Do you tear a corner fully off, leaving two separate pieces or trash? Or so you rip the packet only partially so you can dispense the sauce but it's still all one piece?
One of my old roommates used to eat Taco Bell Border Sauce on tortilla chips, I'd find little packet corners all over the place
How do you sauce?

Rip the corner off for a perfect nozzle with which to dispense condiments.
One piece is horseshit, the tab makes a pocket that obstructs flow.
You one piecers, do you shower with a plastic bag in front of the shower head? Do you wash your car by holding your hand in front of the nozzle and letting the water trickle down? No, you don't. Get with the fucking program.
Soy sauce is the only exception, I'll leave a little one to control the drip.
Also, I pick up after myself

I don’t remember the last time I used any kind of sauce packet.
I seem to recall I just give it a go and whatever happens, happens.

That's a larger pain in the ass than ripping it all the way off.[user not found] wrote: ↑Thu Apr 19, 2018 9:25 am I rip the corner but tuck it to the side when squeezing so it doesn't get in the way.

Remove the obstruction, don't merely work around it.

How hard is putting trash in a trash can?[user not found] wrote: ↑Thu Apr 19, 2018 9:41 amAs a guy who uses multiple packets of sauce, I prefer to keep my cleanup duties streamlined and efficient.
Here's the skinny.
Take food out of the bag, place on table.
As packets/napkins and wrappers are used.
Throw them in the bag that was provided with the meal.
Once meal is complete, throw entire bag away.
Simple, efficient, easy.

I rip the full corner off so that as sauce is squeezed out it goes right where I want it and doesnt have the chance of running down the edge of the loose tear flap and going somewhere else. Especially for really liquidy sauces like soy sauce.Melon wrote: ↑Thu Apr 19, 2018 9:49 amHow hard is putting trash in a trash can?[user not found] wrote: ↑Thu Apr 19, 2018 9:41 am
