all the responsible people that have been paying / paid them off already:
College tuition is out of fucking control, roughly doubling every 10 years. 3% cost of living adjustment my ass.
That said not everyone needs to go to college to earn enough to live a great life.
My oldest is finishing up his bachelors in a month or so. He will be $50k in debt. We paid rent, living expenses and books along the way, else his debt would have been much much worse. 1 almost down, two to go.
all the responsible people that have been paying / paid them off already:
It has to happen at some point - either cancel the debts or have a hard cut off on public school tuition, where people who graduate today have to pay for life and people who start tomorrow have to pay nothing.
You can't retroactively un-fuck everyone over the age of 20, but that alone is not reason to keep fucking everyone else for eternity. Improvement has to start somewhere.
The status quo is certainly not the answer.

My guess would be that Chris took some time off because he has read the dialogue on this page 1,345 times and decided to spend some of his free time doing something besides beating a horse to death.

So he's a Master of Thrusting?

In person interview a week from today after three rounds of phone interviews. This is a promising one in every way.
Is this for the pharma company or the fabulous cruise?

My brother is an aerospace engineer. He works for electronic arts as a quality manager because there were no jobs for aerospace engineers when he graduated.

He's been having troubles finding internships. Or rather even getting responses.
