If I see a deal for some decent Bluetooth headphones I’ll grab those. Only thing I’m really planning on buying is a leather duffle bag from this company I like that makes pretty nice stuff. They usually do a 20-25% off Black Friday sale, so hoping they do that again this year and I c an snag it at a decent price.

The Fanatec wheel set for $299 is on my radar, link in couch racer thread. Haven't and probably won't have time to look at anything else, not like I need to buy more shit anyway

I need a new portable air compressor too. My trusty 12v craftsman one has a busted display after 14 years of use.

im looking at something like that just cheaper. If i go I'll go analog liquid filled all day. But I don't think i need that level of accuracy.4zilch wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2017 6:43 amHere’s the gauge I use...not sur about

Yamaha or Polk make great units for not a lot of coin.[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2017 5:43 am I could use a new sound bar with a sub... New TV might as well upgrade that too.

they all read in 1/10ths of psi and are about +/- 1 psi accurate. If i need more than that...liquid filled.

looks like that clips onto a compressor line. I just need one to keep in my glove box. I have a Slime gauge now and I don't trust it / it's hard to read.Big Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2017 8:50 ami was looking at 30 dollar digital ones.

Gotta get a new media console for that though. I'm currently using some re-purposed nesting end tables as my media console. It looks alright but somewhat unfinished, and won't support any more electronics.

I have this one too, reads 3 psi high depends on how accurate you need to be. https://www.amazon.com/Joes-Racing-3230 ... B00404WDUC

Yeah that is more ideal. I think I need it to be decently accurate so I don't damage the AWD system. If it reads 3 PSI off, well, as long as it does it consistently then that's not terrible.4zilch wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2017 9:05 am

The gauge is precisely 3 psi off all the time.. (precision vs. accuracy)
It should fit your needs well. It also has the best swivel adapter of any gauge I've used. I need to take to time to find the correct fittings to swap it onto my gauge.

I just bought a cheap $7 gauge for the house after having the wife lose her mind with me on the phone Sunday.Big Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2017 8:50 ami was looking at 30 dollar digital ones.

I'm in the middle of an autocross, working a corner SOLO (red flag and radio) and she's bitching about having a flat tire and she can't fill it up with my compressor.
"It's reading 120"
"That's impossible. You're either reading the wrong thing, or you're doing something wrong"
"Can I facetime you so you can see it?"
"90 DS, DNF"......."Fuck, no. I'm solo on a corner"
"MY JOB IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOUR HOBBY! I HAVE TO GET TO WORK!"
"Fine. Facetime me"
*slow phone, doesn't accept the first call. 2nd call is sluggish, and I get a glimpse of her trying to connect an in-line pressure gauge with a 1/4" quick connector to her valve stem*
"That doesn't work like that. I have the air gauge tool with me at the track. Nothing in the garage is going to connect to fill your tire"
"I HATE YOUR TOOLS, WHY WON'T THIS WORK?! What about this blowy thingy?"
"That's just a tool to blow air and clear dust. It doesn't connect to your valve stem like that. Your valve stem is not a beach ball. Take my truck. NBD"
"I hate driving your truck. It feels weird"
"Your job is more important than your Kia"
"God damnit, I love you I gotta go *CLICK*"
So now I have a cheap gauge to keep in the garage in case I take the good gauge to the autocross.

I'll be doing this again me thinks: http://www.circuitoftheamericas.com/off ... rt-madness
Though, if things go right, I'm resigned to skipping F1 this year if it conflicts with Rallyx Nats and I think the VW has a chance to bring home some hardware.
