I saw this somewhere and mentioned to to my lady friend. Her response: "If you are invited to the royal wedding, you fuckin' go."

Unless you’re the bride’s father. Poor girl.

So ...chances of this one wanting to sign are strong. But it is one of the top three most popular dates for next year. I can absolutely book someone that will be less of a headache.

But chances of this one canceling her wedding because 1. She never gets engaged
2. Barn never gets finished
3. Long list of other red flags I can come up with
and I make straight cash from the non-refundable deposit are also strong.

What to do?

#1 take money.

#2 profit

#3 book last minute popular date when she has to cancel because reason. Present exact same package to new person, collect money again. Fire up the vendors and give new address.

I think if she does go through she'll consume more of your time than you originally prepared for.

Will get to it when something is worthy of a quality post.

That being said, met with a potential client tonight.

Bitch isn’t even engaged yet. Brought her mother who just nodded and encouraged her along.

It gets better. She thinks she’s getting married in a barn on her property...

That isn’t even built yet.

‘‘Twas his cousin. At least that is the story I got. Girlfriend knew about it.

They were both in attendance at my blood drive a couple weeks ago, though. And he was the last one to give for the day and we had gone the entire day without anyone passing out. Then he passed out.

So I think we’re even.

I promised myself to stop taking red flag brides over a year ago and haven’t done myself wrong yet. I think you’re probably right.

Kissing cousins?

:notsure:
I didn’t witness any kissing. But at the time, he seemed guilty. Less guilty when girlfriend brought it up to me and said “Jamieson said he saw you at a wedding!” Without any prompt from me but still.

I feel like the risk / reward graph looks like a "U" shape here.... Its likely you could get almost free money, but also liekly to have a complete basket case on your hands. The odds of it going the route of normal are minimal.

Yeah, part of having established yourself is the ability to shop clients.
Stories would be epic, so, befriend the planner she does hire.
Get the stories, none of the headache.

I’m not sure this one is Xanax. All though she did act like this is all totally normal and cool. She asked me at one point how many brides have I had that contracted before they were engaged to which my response was “um ...none.” And she just smiled.

In her defense, if there is one, she wanted a September wedding for this year but quickly realized everyone and everything is already booked for Saturdays in September. My Septembers book 18 months in advance. So I think she’s nervous that she needs to get on it if she wants June, the next popular.

All though that still means she was shopping for September before she was even engaged, too. And on a far tighter time crunch for a proposal. And a venue to be built.

Xanax has a kid now and by evidence of social media, absolutely despises being a mother. She also put on about 25 lbs. Which would really help even out the milligrams she’s swallowing...
