It was 5/7. Smooth, with a nice, subtle bittersweet chocolate finish.

Yeah I don’t like the bitter roasty burnt aftertaste of a lot of porters and stouts. I also don’t like coffee flavored beer. And could do without overly chocolatey beer.

Best porters I’ve had are Green Man from Asheville and this Bells one.

This definitely over chocolatey, imo. I thought it was pretty subtle, but YMMV, of course.

Went to an Indian restaurant with some old friends tonight and had this Porter. It was surprisingly smooth and flavorful. 22oz bottle.

This Kojak was amazing. So full of flavor and smooth, like next-level Guinness.
The cider was pretty great too, if you like cider. Crisp, and just sweet enough.
