Which ones?

Sent from the beer depository
The first flight I had was...
Sam Adams Winter Lager
Evil twin brewing imperial mexican biscotti cake break(pretty tasty)
Prairie Artisan Christmas Bomb(typical spiced festive beer)
Rogue Cold Brew IPA(IPA so not my thing)

My second flight was a bunch of local brews.
River Rat Brewery Belgian Quad(kinda bland)
Low Tide Brewing Petal to the Fleur(actually tasted like a flower)
Lo-FI Brewing Glitter Pony(delicious belgian tripel)
Holy City Brewing Bowens Island Oyster Stout(disgusting)

This is a good beer but almost drinks like a scotch type. Standard IPA aroma and initial bite, but then it kicks in. Hops to the max. Good but also hard to let live in your mouth. It's one of those weird situations where you want to enjoy it but also want to get it over with.

3.5/7. Would drink again. And have several times. It's much better on tap.

Interesting.

I've had some decent beers over the weekend, nothing crazy good though.

This was good but could have stood to sit for a while to mellow out a bit.

I went to one of the first microbreweries in our area the other night (we now have tens of them, this one has been around for a long time though, 15+ years?), Olde Mecklenburg Brewery. They have all of these German inspired beers, and man, they were good. It's so nice to go somewhere that isn't all IPAs, ALL THE HOPS BRO!

I've had some warmup beers.

And a small glass of wine with the steak.

Didn't put it in a glass. Dammit. Anyhow toffee, Brown sugar, and some decent hops hit my palette. Nothing stands out except for the bitter spice on the back end. Not my fav, but a decent strong Ale.

I haven't had any winter ales yet this year. It's been all IPA's, hefty dark stuff, and triples.

I have I think one Perpetual left, a few golden monkeys, and then a bunch of stuff I have no interest in drinking that has been sitting around for a while.
