It's been a roller coaster ride, and she's not perfect, by far, but it's been a journey, and she's helped me through some incredibly tough times.

Would I do it again? Yeah, I would, but I'm glad we have ended up where we are now, and looks forward to where we will go.

Wrong, going on 4 years (GF, not wifey). :fuckyeah:

Before that, I was in a relationship for 3 years until she moved to Copenhagen to go to business school.

People =/= cars and toys

I'm probably the biggest :plac: on here when it comes to cars, but that doesn't necessarily transfer to other areas of my life. The young me fucked around a lot, it's not hard to find a quick lay but something moar meaningful is rare.
How many cars have you had vs how many women? Prob had more womenz than cars :iono:

Probably about equal but if I took count from the age of 20, it would be significantly more cars. I also lived in WA, OR, CA, IL, CO, and NY by the time I was 19, I either had the option of meeting new people or being alone.

this is true, meeting new people means you had to go some events here and there. One of my older friends moved to Philly for his job, took a salsa dancing class, met a girl, and bam now in a somewhat serious relationship. But that isn't exactly my point on the Philly bro, point is, getting more women is bound to happen when you move to an area where you don't know anyone.

I don't think anyone I know are now on their HS cars anymore. I graduated 7 years ago, and one of my friends still have his car he drove to school, which his younger bro now drives it, dat corolla reliability, I need to check dat mileage though lol.

I voted that I would prefer someone who refills the soap dispenser... even though I'm single, I am still hanging out with and :dock: with the ex. Our personalities mesh so well, plus life goals and all that match up, so I could see him being my husband if he showed some affection or interest in our relationship.
Right now the soap dispensers are empty and I'm looking elsewhere.

atleast she gave you the ok on Subie. I once dated a girl when I had my mk6 back then and told me it was "really uncomfortable" :yeahok: (i only had DG springs) try riding in an Evo 8 or Z4 M and then tell me again. :lol:
She don't care what I drive. I wouldn't let her dictate what I buy anyway.
I get where you're coming from, but at the same time, once you're married, car choices do tend to need to be a joint decision; at least when it comes to the primary cars.

When it came to getting the truck, my wife didn't care what I (we) bought as long as we could afford it. And she wanted to try the FS first since it's what I wanted, and was uncomfortable in it, which is how we ended up with the Colorado.

I had an ex try to dictate what car I drove, she demanded that I get rid of my Mach1 for something more "practical" and was pissed when I refused and eventually replaced it with my Vette. She actually stopped talking to me for a good while because she thought it was a waste of money.

And while things haven't always been perfect in the short time I've been married, I wouldn't change anything and would do it again cause I do love her and we do our best to communicate and work things out without having a huge fight or anything like that.

Learned my lesson, ain't doing that again. I'll consider her opinion, but it won't be the deciding factor.
