side effect being “normal” now. Hopefully you can get out soon!CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2019 6:42 pm
I need to get to the range now that I am feeling better.
One thing I noticed is that my hands are a lot more steady now that I have "normal" blood pressure and heart rate.
Wifey is really getting into the hobby too.

Yeah, that's an idea. My friend here did that in Fresno back in 2006 and it works well for him. Being an 07 SOT + a cop = he can play with his own stuff and nobody cares.dubshow wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 3:05 pmyeah.CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 2:58 pm
I always wanted a PS90 and FS2000, but the idea of complying with California's 10 round magazine law kept me away.
lmk when you move to a free state. At your level, if you cared, start a small biz SOT 07/10 and do whatever you want #yolo.

The theme park for freedom loving adults.
A few of those places do exist. You can drive and shoot a tank's cannon. I think it was $1200 per pop iirc? I know of one in texas. Anything you want at a ranch, they cater to elites.

Awesome.
I shot my Russian SKS last week. What a great rifle that used to be dirt cheap. It's a numbers matching Tula from 195x that is in excellent condition. I paid $150 for it C&R in 2003.

I bought my mosin (perfect izzi) from Cabela's in 2011 for $89. Was a mint rearsenaled greasy mess. I loved it. Sadly I didn't have the money to get a mint russian or Yugo sks for $199. I really thought long and hard but ultimately passed on the great sks thinking I'd get AKs later. My goals were different back then, I thought all guns would be banned eventually. I also didn't believe cheap surplus would dry up so rapidly.
Fast forward to 2014, filled with regret and still looking at mosins climb in value, I bought 3 chicom SKS for $243 ea shipped. They were gross and ugly. They sold for 350 to 375 that same week they arrived at my FFL's store. I needed the money and couldn't refuse. So after cleaning them I made a small profit, quickly. 2019, I still have the itch and refuse to pay 450 to 600 for a nice sks.
Got 2 chicoms for $334 ea shipped. Luck of the draw but I refuse to sit around and miss decent surplus.
