How's the speaker sound playing music? We use our phones to play music often, and the built-in speakers are...not great.
Better than a regular phone speaker but not Bluetooth speaker good. Two 27mm speakers at 3W each. It does have its own battery which is nice. Can charge on/off the phone, and be powered by the phone if it's battery dies.
Wow, that's really :neat:

I did this the other day, it killed the animation load times and sped my phone up.
Been worth it so far. Many animations are pointless and take too long, especially if you have to wait for the animation to finish before you can interact with the screen

(If you have an Android phone)
Unlock Developer Options:

Settings > About Phone > 7x tap on Build Number

Decrease animation time:

Settings > System > Developer Options > Set all Options with Animation Scale to x0.5 or less

Enjoy your fast phone

Their website still shows Z's, X's, G's, and E's. No idea what Z and G is, :doe: :iono:

It does...but they haven't updated the Moto X in ages.
Got it.

Z is the one you can stick things to the back of. Like a JBL speaker, projector, 5g adapter, zoom camera etc.
Ohh. I've seen those. :neat: concept.

usually phones have built in animations for when you do things like open the camera, open an app, delete an app, etc.

:notsure:
I'll have to live with it for a while to see if I notice anything.

But my phone is 4 days old so it should be pretty fast anyway. Maybe that's why I don't notice much of a difference.

Yeah that's where I noticed it. Load times just cut all the animations down so the actual load time feels like it's shortened. A lot of the time the whole page or something in an app doesn't load until a specific animation finishes . If you just cut the unnecessary shit out it seems to load faster. I changed it like it said and immediately checked some web pages and it helped. Good thing is you can always change it back. There's apparently people changing it to X10 and seeing how bad life can be. Lol

You spent the right amount on it IMO.

Doesn't seem to be any appreciable different between it and ones that are 10X more.

There probably isn't.

I spent $50 on a 100% CF one. I don't even wear it because I'm too :fatty:

Cordless impact is super handy. I'm in the Dewalt universe and find I use the impact frequently.

But using that Milwaukee sawzall is game changing. One-handed and so ergonomic. I almost ditched my Dewalt stuff just for that. I use my sawzall frequently.
