Skipping an opportunity for a free 8 weeks in Austrailia only giving up skiing a few months? How is this even a question?

You will regret not going more than you will regret losing *only* 8 weeks of skiing. I went to China despite missing out on a lot of family things and my own kids.... and I do not regret it at all. Once in a lifetime opportunities are exactly that.
