Need a with a ?stripethree wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2018 1:46 pm I have one more project to do - :pinshit: bedroom mirror project - then I want to post photos of the place. Have the sofa, picked up some ottomans, put curtains up in the bedroom.. place feels super legit and I am very pleased with how it came together.
I was planning to do that project this weekend, then realized the car that I could haul Home Depot stuff home with has no seats and only half a dash. Whoops.

so many mods to a rental.stripethree wrote: ↑Fri Dec 01, 2017 7:07 pm A couple more bachelor pad mods from this week.
Never had one of these before. I dig it.
Nesting. Austin Energy should be paying me back up to $170 for enrolling in their energy saving shindig. From dumb thermos to smart thermos connected to Alexa in less than an hour. The E models were on sale for a pair, and the things it lacks compared to the nicer one, I did not care about.
And since the house is Unit B, well, obvious name is obvious.

A flight to go see other DFD heathens and have a weekend of shenanigans?stripethree wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2018 2:18 pmWell, keep in mind that until a few years ago, it was in their backyard versus a flight.
Yeah, sounds terrible to me.
Usually it would be MotoStig trying to convince their other half to go on a trip with them.
we JUST did Austin in November. And I JUST saw a large portion of heathens two weeks ago with the trip to Nola. And Zilch will see you fuckers in May and I will see them with him again in August. It's a mix of we should probably be better adults about money and vacation time.Apex wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2018 2:21 pmA flight to go see other DFD heathens and have a weekend of shenanigans?stripethree wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2018 2:18 pm

And yes, it was in our back yard.
But agreed.

1). I need to visit the home ownershit section more frequentlystripethree wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2018 2:18 pmWell, keep in mind that until a few years ago, it was in their backyard versus a flight.
2). What Jefe said. I went to MotoGP a bunch when it was still in Indy. Now all we have is lame Indycars and stockcar racing.

Now that the West Elm card is paid off I avoid that section like my life depends on it. After I get the R back together this weekend I want to knock out the mirror project I have in mind and that's it. No mas on rental house things for a while.

Highjacking Jefe’s thread for a house update on the Zilch front. Because we don’t do enough of this to warrant its own thread and Jefe is good at sharing.
We converted our guest bedroom into a legit home office for me. Up until now, my “office” was a 2’x3’ table cramped against a wall in our already tight guest bedroom. We hardly ever used the guest bedroom aspect because Zilch and I don’t have friends and I was crazy tired of having to pull a printer out, plug it in, hook up my laptop, and sit on the floor to print every time I needed something for Work. Which is frequent, or at least feels that way when it’s that much of a pain in the ass. It was beyond time and business ownership needed to be easier.
So behold, from this:
To dis:
Zilch gets a massive public thank you for taking five hours out of a Sunday plus some to assemble Ikea furniture.
