Ceiling is done and painted. Looks totes fab.
Top row of cabinets got installed yesterday.
Bottom row going in today along with the pantry cabinets.

Another week to trim it all out and I think we'll be there! Minus counter tops of course.

I'd be ok doing this. GFs home is a bit LOL in terms of upkeep and it hasn't been that bad at all. Certainly no front falling off. But home upkeep is pretty

Home upkeep is crazy There's very few benefits...however the ones that exist make it our only option. Mainly location (no rentals) and not dealing with people. Also, eventually it'll be paid off and living costs will be reduced significantly.

To come: They will put a soffit over the top of the cabinets to cover the ugly. Cabinets will have end trim. Lower cabinets going in today along with under lighting.

Also they broke the face plate of the wall AC. Motherfucker is broken anyways, just an annoyance.

Subway tile is actually coming back. Infamous sends me a bunch of pinshit photos of kitchens with that tile now.

I don't mind it since it's cheap.

Oh yeah subway tile is a thing again. It can look good. But you don't ever fully tile the place. That's full retard.
