Do you have any reccos in NorCal ? my 5k service is knocking and I don't want my truck to get fucked with.fledonfoot wrote: ↑Fri Mar 19, 2021 1:09 pmYeah he’s awful.Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 19, 2021 11:31 am
I do. It was Dan Morrow. She's going to Scarduzio from now on. Or I guess I should say I'M going to Scarduzio because she never wants to go back there.
I think the worst part was him actually saying he likes to give vague answers to customers. She was probably getting the woman treatment from him.
Scarduzio is a slimeball and his lead tech is a crook. You’re better off working with Joe D over there out of anyone.
If you take the drive over to Princeton, you should really go work with Dan Marjarum and tell him I sent you. One of the best, straight shooting no bullshit people I’ve ever worked with. He handled all my problem customers with ease when I needed something done right... By far one of the best writers I’ve ever worked with in over a decade doing this.

5k is a tire rotation, set tire pressures and dump a gallon of washer fluid in.
Find a store that advertises “Toyota Express Maintenance” or TXM. They’re specifically trained stores that run the maintenance department in 2 man teams of techs, where each tech QCs the others work as part of the process and still gets things done in 20-30 minutes.
The whole program audits the service department to get a car done in 45-60 minutes from pulling into the service drive and pulling out of the parking lot. Dealers are audited every 90 days and continuously mystery shopped by Toyota for compliance.
Oof. I think she already requested scarduzio cause that's who her dad uses.fledonfoot wrote:Yeah he’s awful.Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 19, 2021 11:31 am I do. It was Dan Morrow. You’re fine with routine service. It’s the list of “recommended services” found on inspection to be wary of, such as throttle body and EFI services. Especially be smart for PA safety inspection, particularly for inner tie rods, trailing arm and control arm bushings, etc.Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 10:48 amOof. It really is, especially when so much of it is at the technician’s discretion/interpretation.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 1:42 pmBoy the PA inspection thing is a racket.fledonfoot wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 11:31 am

The name literally reminds me of my dad and I had an heated argument in 2014 with some entitled ass asshole in a parking lot in Long Island with his cadillac and his heavy brooklyn accent.
Nephew of a a few first gen immigrant on DFD, resident turk, and ex nazi egg lover now driving a middle class mom mobile.
You weren't kidding. What is this bs on the 10k service? The EFI stuff you mentioned and "torque nuts and bolts on chassis and body". Torquing the prop shaft bolts.fledonfoot wrote:You’re fine with routine service. It’s the list of “recommended services” found on inspection to be wary of, such as throttle body and EFI services. That is technically right out of the owners manual, but that service is pushed for around $120, vs the $64.95 oil change and $24.95 rotate for an extra couple bucks in profit.Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 24, 2021 4:11 pmYou weren't kidding. So should I just straight up specify oil change and tire rotation? That's it.fledonfoot wrote:That is technically right out of the owners manual, but that service is pushed for around $120, vs the $64.95 oil change and $24.95 rotate for an extra couple bucks in profit.
Is the body going to fly off the car when I approach speeds?
