:notbad: Fedex!

UV light is on backorder though :angrypanda: I was really looking forward to seeing the glow effect on the coating.

Anyways polishing and ceramic coating happens Friday. I’m gonna try out the tire armor today, though
What kind of UV light? Hardware stores should have some
Idk if it needs to be a specific wavelength. It just came with the kit, but it’s on backorder. I’ll stop by the hardware store tonight to see if I can get a cheap one.

Apparently :meata: has a twin here in Orlando :mindblown:

Another '09 Comp Yellow Miata GT Soft Top... with almost the same fucking wheels, too!!! :dafuq: Mine are grey, his are black, but both are TRM C4! AND the same muffler. WHAT?

I found him randomly on miata.net. Once CoronaCrap(TM) dies down, I'm gonna go to the local Miata meet and get a twins photo!

The only acceptable photo would be with both tail lights off in both cars to see which one is which

So after being MIA nearly a month, :hai:

:meata: ‘s doin fine. I’ve put about 2200 miles on her and she’s just about due for an oil change. No more modz yet, since ‘Rona and her consequences have been fucking things up the past few weeks.

Basically, research at my uni has shut down, I “have a job” but can’t work, and I’m being kicked out of my dorm for ‘Rona reasons. All this and hard finals. Happy days, here. Thankfully I was able to take over the remaining portion of a friend’s lease in a house. Hopefully after the move is done we’ll have a bit more stability. Lack of income sucks, and I can’t claim unemployment. Not that it would help, with how slow FL has been with processing things. Probably wouldn’t get any help for a couple months.

Haaaaappy days.

I had no idea these existed for the height-adjustable seats! For the longest time I could only find ones that would lower the non-adjustable seats. I certainly need these, thanks!

Naw. I enjoyed my :meata: time, but I've got the :jizz: rocket in the garage again.
I wish you never sold the GP. That thing is quite epic. Of all the other cars you’ve had, it’s by far my fav. :plac:

Too much money wrapped up in a car I barely drove at the end. Was :fullretard: to have that in the garage and have the :povertytruck: as my constantly-broken daily.
Do you have less money tied up in cars now ?

I think the difference there is that he drives and enjoys the :jizz: rocket more often

Smartasses.

Let me rephrase. It was a payment being made on a car I didn’t drive because I gave too many fucks about it, while I daily drove a poverty truck that left me stranded from time to time.

The Trailcock is being driven, the R53 is owned outright and aside from taking up space, doesn’t bother me when it’s not being used.

They are. But that specialness kept me from driving it for fear of decreasing the value.

The R53 is special in its own way and much cheaper now that it’s fully depreciated.
:dat:

There's a lot of value in having a fun car that you love but is low enough in value that you can go full send.

I mean the GP is well under 30k... Like that seems to be DD'able
My JCW is around the same price and I have no issues sending it daily. It'll have 5+ years of left of fun even as a daily.. Which is a :plac: eternity.

I agree in terms of the daily. Track use is a different level of full send where I would be a bit more hesitant with $30k.

Oh I wouldn't track for sure... I like my paint to be nice. But I am sure occasional decent track days should be ok if you have a clear bro or something.

I’m more worried about the wear and tear than crashing... like my C5, tons of rock chips, melted brakes, gravel and dirt lodged everywhere, etc.
