This is my perfect spec Taco... sitting used above MRSP. I wonder why someone traded that thing in.

It is however not on the Toyota of Claremont website so perhaps it has sold as well.

Question:
Car not listed on their site, what do I do ? Just cold call?

That's what I would do :iono:

It is ingrained in me from my job, but I find that you can get a lot more done over the phone versus beating around the bush with email for days. It can't hurt to see if they do indeed have it and if they're willing to let it go for a reasonable price, like 10% off MSRP at least. Over MSRP for used is true :wtf: status, this isn't a Lambo.

I’m debating the right path given my experience last weekend ... it taught me a lot ... I was set on a :manuel: taco ... but now not sure. My buddy wants to go wheeling at sour grass this weekend https://youtu.be/KzVY8IsD7zM

Do you think you'd do that sort of wheelin' more than once?

Also, is your buddy tossing you the keys to the :jeep: again while he drives the overheating POS?

I think he wants to go together in the :jeep: but I don’t think I’ll go...

This looks more difficult than the last one ... so I think I’d rather not risk blowing out a clutch or flipping it ...

Seems like one of those things that may be more fun as a passenger than a driver?

Yea it actually is... all the excitement and none of the risk. But he wants to go sat, and my sig other will have to go pound rocks that day even tho I just went solo last weekend.

Yea it sucks, I can GO i am sure, but then it'll turn into a "thing" long term. "Why are you picking off roading over spending the short weekends we have with me" :yikes: don't want to deal with that...

:notwrong:

This was my conclusion a long while back when I was considering getting a :jeep:

Now we have a :jeep: but I will still be MTB a hell of a lot more than I'll ever off road. It's nice to have something that takes three hours instead of all day or all weekend, :tits: never has an issue with me going out for a half day thing on a weekend, all weekend things, I have to plan carefully.

Update:

New car buying got put on hold due to house purchase that will likely happen in the next 4-6 weeks. Bank doesn’t want me doing any major transactions even though we are shooting for about 2/3 of what they qualified us for.

2% car to house ratio FTW :disgust:
