First major Miles on the mini in 2 months... drove 150 yesterday. Remembered why I love the little thing so much. Ended up driving like a cuck and averaging 35mpg, including sf city driving as pictured. However I also had to fill up because of the tiny tank and the sig other dragging the average down to 25 I had 50 miles to empty and a warning at 210 miles on the current tank
It’s pretty damn quiet on the freeway and the motor
Makes everything effortless, this thing pulls from 1500 rpm... 80 to 90 mph in 6th is effortless in 2 seconds ... the taco screams in 4th at that point.
On the flip side I was also reminded why the 2” bigger wheels than those on the taco are completely at every expansion joint.
Overall really digging the fleet

They are, I have been wanting to downsize 1" for a while, but decided not to $1600 on a set of wheels + tires. and went with $600 on tires only. I kind of want to keep it as stock as possible.
Car has been dealer maintained the entire life + has only had OEM stuff put on it. of course... but I really like it still.

I find completely stock performance oriented vehicles like that really appealing. I'd do the same if I were you. Especially since you like it so much, not worth screwing with things IMO.max225 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 2:50 pmThey are, I have been wanting to downsize 1" for a while, but decided not to $1600 on a set of wheels + tires. and went with $600 on tires only. There is an OEM wheel that is 17" but it is only black or light silver and nearly impossible to find because so few F56 JCW have been sold.Detroit wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 2:52 pmI find completely stock performance oriented vehicles like that really appealing. Hell I can get any wheel for the Taco at any point in time... and or anything for a jeep. But mini is turning out to be quite "rare". Something to be said for having a common vehicle. Parts are easy to come by and cheap.

I had an AMC Pacer for a decade...talk about impossible to find parts for. After that thing, I swore off rare/unique vehicles.max225 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 2:58 pmThere is an OEM wheel that is 17" but it is only black or light silver and nearly impossible to find because so few F56 JCW have been sold.
