I think the black would be slightly nicer than chrome but not sure I'd offload a few hunnit on that, the better wheels/ :225: , yes.

I blacked out the same chrome trim with the black pieces on my R56. 5/7 would do again.

I am severely limited in the wheel/tire selection. This car has a stupid :unicorn: wheel size limitation due to the oversized front brakes. 19/20 wheels can't clear the brakes, and when they do they need to be this odd concave shape... :disgust: Once you find a fitting wheel it may rub for any tire size bigger than 215... some report rubbing @225 others don't... Can't figure out the truth ... stock size is 205 btw.

I don't hate the stock wheels... But I would love to go wider and smaller :hubba:

Another question for the greater crowd here. I believe my in service date for the mini is 11/30/15, so... I am trying to see if I should do a :wasteful: oilchange and have them "check" the car while it is in warranty or just :aintcare: my way through...? I would only have about 3/4k miles on that oil... and I would love to get a service history from them for the car... I have it in Carfox, but I can't tell if it got serviced... 2x in 2019 or 1x... as "vehicle serviced" doesn't tell me shit.

I also need an alignment and I am assuming the :dillerman: charges $299 for that... which would be a yuge :nope: for me.

Are you sure about that? My VW diller charged $139 for my alignment.

Plus his roads are better so there's less need for alignments.

I think I need to get my car aligned. Highway mileage dropped and I don't know why. 3 years of slamming potholes, I'm sure it's a little off.

Yeah that's just small sporty car stuff. I'm surprised the STI has lasted this long without noticing a major issue. The GTI got its alignment knocked out within a year, and then the subframe kept shifting around after that and it would never hold an alignment so I just gave up on it. I've really been surprised at this car, it's rather basic and crude but it just works.

Your tiny BMW should be pretty good though.

I don't know how I haven't bent a wheel yet. I railed a pretty bad ditch a month ago and the car seemed to take it. I did bottom the shock on it though :/
GTI had 2 bent Devners which are 17's.
