Such a sexy car. I personally like the pre-tint look better but you live in a place that's sunny 364.75 days per year so I understand.

I honestly sort of prefer the tint look, gives a bit of a contrast. Also a bit less heat, we need to run AC from rev to nov

It is a place in Santa Clara. Let you know, I did 2 cars there now... 3 and my friend did another. Just depends it won’t be like $1000 Orion or whatever from Pleasanton, but they look like they did do a good job with 3m colorstable for $300 cash

This is the place. Give me a day or so I want to see if I have any issues with the install. Usually need to wait 48 hrs or so for all the little imperfections to go away etc.

So far tiny tint streaks and bubbles have gone away. But I am :notsure: i believe any of this "tint makes car cooler" BS. Car doesn't feel cooler... but it does provide a bit more privacy.

:hibachi: update... Supposed title is out for delivery... will it be part of the docs :doe: remains to be seen.

I’m not spending $800 on tint. And i use a sunshade. Which is better than any tint

Oh man California tax. Your car in Xpel Prime XR Plus tint would probably be $400 here.

I got a sunburn once driving my 30% tinted Scion tC in Arizona.

That was the last car I had tinted.

:hibachi: update.

I got the title

Also previous owners name is ... wait for it ... John... it was a John Cunnen in a John Cooper works :mindblown:

Naturally they didn’t mail me the car fax that was promised but at least the important shit is here... a solid 4 weeks to get a mfking title that doesn’t look printed or anything and signed by the prior owner so they literally sat on this shit for weeks.

I hated this process so much. Gross incompetence.

To add a bit of a creepy twist ... azn Zillowed his house and found another mini up front ... so it seems like
John really liked his coopers

In other news, I also received the shipping confirmation for the exhaust. It’ll be here next Tuesday. :excited: I should have it on by a week after that since I’m
Leaving for New York for 6 days.

At least the saga is almost at an end. That's all that matters IMO.
