my wife keeps saying how much she likes the new civic sport hatch.
but she is in the final month until the :gti: is paid FOR.
The Si was a fantastic car but the sport hatch looks way better. Neither seems like a meaningful upgrade from the MK6 GTI if it’s still reliable, but the Civics do have fantastic tech.
yeah but its not better enough to through away a paid for and well maintained mk6. It is a 2013 and most every issue was resolved or I fixed it.
Thats the tough call. Her stacking away $500/mo is real nice sounding. Save for a year then her biz will need the tax break/expense and she can go get anything she wants.
She really wants a base Macan
I do agree a base GTi is a better starting point than a civic. I also find honda's trim level to body config a little stupid. Make an SI in the hatch form damnit!

If that's all she's stackin, then I recommend sticking to the mk6 until it hits high 100 in terms of miles. It is a good car.dubshow wrote: ↑Tue Jul 23, 2019 2:33 pmyeah but its not better enough to through away a paid for and well maintained mk6. Seriously if they made an SI hatch, game over for me... it is the perfect fun DD. It would be around 25k as well which would undercut most competitors.dubshow wrote: ↑Tue Jul 23, 2019 2:33 pmyeah but its not better enough to through away a paid for and well maintained mk6. The Sport trim absolutely SUCKS in terms of content. 4 speaker stereo and you still have a key...

Said everyone ever... I guess it's just to drive R sales? The hatch just looks so much better. The coupe looks good but it's not very practical and I didn't really fit in it head room wise.dubshow wrote: ↑Tue Jul 23, 2019 2:33 pmyeah but its not better enough to through away a paid for and well maintained mk6.
