Sweet. My dad had a '80 El Camino with a nice 383 when I was growing up. Loved sitting in the bench seat in the 90's while he'd lay down 200ft of rubber. I was so mad when he sold it I didn't talk to him for a week.
have any classics yourself?? the blue one has a cammed 350. the black one had a 305 until i blew it up.
I'm in the process of building a 500whp 454CI engine for it. I also plan of swapping in a t56 TKO or a muncie rock crusher, still haven't decided
damn! must've been a ripper!!! i like the box looking elcos, they're just all around good cars that you can get very cheap

I think it ran 110mph in the 1/4 with the TH400 3 spd. So with an empty bed an 90's tires there definitely wasn't much traction on the street.

Dayum a 454 would be killer.....
I Had some stuff that would be classics now but were just cars when I had them....
Check out my Ride thread viewtopic.php?f=12&t=805
I have a 92 300ZX that could be considered classic, I guess, being that its 27 years old....
