Afternoon naps.
Grilling up brats and mac and cheese for dinner.
Relaxing by the fire.
Arclight LED interior lights
Camping lights
20 degrees out with dense wet fog, he bundled up for bed.
The lights looked like lasers in the fog.
Cold, damp, and foggy in the morning.
Frost on the tent.
Frost on the ladder.
We decided to call it, it wasn't going to be a good day for adventuring with a 3 year old.
Dash cam screen shot of the roads.
We had quite a bit of condensation to dry out when we got home. We played football while it air dried.

Great work on the rig, it's fantastic. I wish I had your skill set, and your time/location to go on adventures like this. I think my wife and little man would love it just as much as yours seems to.

We were planning to get back out this weekend but we just got a shot load of snow. Everything in the mountains is buried and all the trails need to dry out. Tuesday I leave on a work trip for a while so I think the adventures are on hold until July.

I've been out of town for a long while, I flew home on July 3rd in time to pack up and hit the road with my son for camping and biking.

Here's the next adventure from last weekend, hiking a 14,036 foot peak in the clouds with my wife.
Hiking the Ridge to the Summit
On top of the clouds
At the summit
My wife taking a break in the rock wall shelter to get out of the unrelenting cold strong wind. It was about 40 degrees with a constant 30 mph wind.
The clouds were starting to break
As the sun came out and we made our descent to warming temps the gloves came back off

I just finished up an epic trip with my best friend, I have a ton of pics to go through, sometime this week I should have it posted. Both of us and the truck got a hell of a workout without much rest.

This was my plan for a dual battery. I don't have all the stuff yet, for now I'm holding off on the battery monitor, solar panel, A/C shore power, and the fridge but I have enough to get it up and running properly wired, fused (circuit breakers actually) on a DC-DC charger with e second battery running vow voltage cutoff leading to the power distribution module running all of non-OEM electronics,
The past couple days I've been working on the dual battery setup.
I got the C4 Fabrication passenger side firewall battery tray painted and installed so it's not in this picture.
I made a cardboard template to figure out how much room I had to work with and transferred it to a 1/2" piece of HDPE.
Trying to visualize how I want the components laid out for a clean install with minimal wiring.
Test fitting and checking clearances with a rough layout.
I'm happy with the layout but I need to modify the hold down so there no interference with the wiring.
The top end is modified, the bottom end is not.
Proper clearance.
Countersunk bolts so it can sit flat
I got the bottom of the hold down trimmed for clearance and painted and then everything laid out to map the excess real estate to trim.
Trimmed down and wired up.
I need some wire loom and I have to find the paperwork and figure out the small wires on the Redarc, but the cables almost all of the wiring is done. Almost ready for install.
