We are Al Dente. New plugs are in the car and it's running well. A few other service items to do (I had an airbag fault light that came on intermittently but figured it was just a connector - they are replacing it instead) and inspection. They will probably have it another week but not a huge deal if it's running right.

Seems like a solid plan. Hopefully you'll still have the thing a year from now![user not found] wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2019 11:27 am This is actually a very reasonable shipping speed. Order placed Thursday. Probably arrived Tuesday. All clear at 1030 today. I'm fine with that.
Now I have to decide if I'm going to do plugs annually... If yes, I'll just let the diller know a week before.

The fact that there is even a discussion about an $80K car needing to be taken back as irreparably defective is "Exhibit A" to why post industrial revolution Italy was never a force to be reckoned with on the European continent.

Interesting. Was it an immediate thing after the plugs or did it take some mileage?[user not found] wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2019 1:18 pmI found two cases like that but that's statistically a :dunno:

Last Tuesday I got a misfire, service throttle control, and a CEL
Last Wednesday they picked it up
Thursday they said new plugs and would take two weeks to get them in from Italy
Plugs arrived yesterday and it's testing fine today (a week ahead of schedule)
Other people with this issue and have had their cars bought back so I'm going to push it hard once I have it to see how it does.
sounds like a good plan and glad your chariot will soon be home. Alfa things are lolz.

Ah gotchya[user not found] wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2019 9:40 amBeen there two weeks. One week for the plugs. One for a new passenger side airbag (they agreed with my assessment it was probably just a connector but did it all to be safe) and a state inspection/oil change.

There's really something to be said about driving cars more frequently.
