Holy fuck the ND national guys are fast. Everyone in the class is fast as hell. It was all I could do to not finish last despite the RX8 handling+running really well. I was like 1.5 seconds off of first on a 40 second course, which put me in 13th of 14 by 0.03 seconds. The car feels great though, most of that difference was in my mediocre driving.
Highway mpg to and from the event was 20.0 at 75 mph, just barely broke 20... During the event was 14 mpg.

I just looked up the overall indexed results and I was in about the middle of the event as a whole despite being nearly last in the class. The winning ND would have been 2nd in the C5/C6 Z06 class...

Even with -2 degrees camber, a stiffer front sway bar, stiffer shocks, and 36 psi the outside shoulders are wearing much more than the rest of the tires up front. Probably needs another full degree and stiffer springs or sway bars all around, but not legal for stock class...

The Mexicans/Italians will think I'm a freak, which is probably a good thing in most of the country... I kind of like that he's not particularly well-known, so nobody is going to be "I HATE that!" like they might with many sticker options.
For the unenlightened, Dio sang with Rainbow, Black Sabbath, and his own band simply called Dio:
He was also featured in Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny and even played the school dance in a South Park episode. In the 80s he got the entire rock/metal scene (and the guys from Spinal Tap) together to do a Live Aid type benefit project which raised a million bucks or so for famine relief in Africa, the videos from it are hilarious!
...plus he's credited with "inventing" the heavy metal horns \m/ gesture.

RJD was a major factor in the cassette deck choices of teenage males in Wichita Kansas in the mid 80s. He continues to rule with an iron fist of total dominance.troyguitar wrote: ↑Wed May 02, 2018 11:18 am The Mexicans/Italians will think I'm a freak, which is probably a good thing in most of the country... I should find the ones I have and apply them to my ride today.
