Jesus fuck-me Christ the judgement is thick in here.

Also, FWIW, I've done more AutoX and car shit than Brad did last year.
Although, in full disclosure, Brad did help me with the major projects...

... :dubshow: did not ...

Initial stab at a For Sale ad, I need to do real pictures at some point when it isn't salty outside:

2003 MR2 Spyder
121k miles, clean KY title in hand
$7500

Full SCCA ES-class autox prep, will win every event with right driver
Rare OEM cloth seats in VG condition
New Koni Sport struts
New KYB strut mounts, bump stops, dust boots
Toyota crash bolts and -2.2 degrees front camber
1.25" custom hollow adjustable front sway bar, one of 10 produced
Stainless adjustable end links from Twos 'R Us
Mint 949 6UL 15x6 +40 front wheels
Mint Enkei RPF-1 15x7 +41 rear wheels
BFG Rival-S 1.5 205/50/15 with ~100 runs left
New Centric/Stoptech 305 front, 309 rear brake pads - this pad combo is perfect
Brake+clutch fluid flushed and calipers all cleaned+regreased
MWR Cruise control kit cleanly installed
Kenwood lightweight stereo head unit adds bluetooth and drops 3.3 lbs
Spare tire and tools all intact
Plastic/rubber shields/trays/fasteners all intact
Shifts great, launches great with competitive 60-ft times
New rear trans/engine mount
New spark plugs and valve cover gasket, no oil leaks
New bank 1 O2 sensor, no CEL or pending codes, pre-cats look good
Does not consume any oil
OEM convertible top in good condition, no patches, no leaks
Recent full detail including polishing+coating faded headlights
No rust, not driven in salt, garaged on battery tender in winter
2015-dated battery in good condition
Gets ~25 mpg on 87 including running autox

Issues:
Front bumper has been cheaply resprayed and has faded in places
Paint on rear bumper is faded
A couple small cracks in the front bumper
Small crack in driver's side foglight
Engine bay is oily/dirty from valve cover leaking

Also includes:
Stock wheels with no tires
Stock front sway bar and end links
Stock stereo head unit

Photos:

Pictures mainly show the (not included) RPF1 street wheel set, it comes with the autox wheels+tires. I've been meaning to paint the gray 6UL's silver to better match the RPF1's but am waiting for warm weather, you can have the wheel paint if you want it. Pictures also show the purple open-ended lug nuts, I've since replaced them with black closed ones - if you really want, though, you can have the purple lug nut and magnet set!

*from previous valve cover gasket which was replaced to prep this bad boy for its rookie year as an autox car this summer. Did I mention that the car won Nationals in its class on it's first attempt? If you are ready to bring your skills to the next level then don't pass up this one up.

I’d probably take out the camber worn tire pic and the few of it with faded light and mis matched wheels. As well the odd ones that seem to do nothing with the car I.e the wheels in the passenger seat.
Other than that good ad!

$7k cash offer on the table after 1 day of being kinda sorta listed on a private local facebook group, haven't even had time to properly clean it up and take real photos... Sorry :fax: it looks like you were wrong!

I don't even have the car 100% ready, was expecting it to take longer, but $7k is all I want out of it so as long as he comes through it is sold.

That's pretty good but tbh I think it's worth the ask sale price. They aren't beater/scrap cars anymore since fewer around.

Your :plac: seems highly effective due to your choice of fully depreciated cars. Congrats bud!

:word:

I might be able to get an extra $500 if I screw around with tire kickers for another month or two, but at this price I've got a local no-hassle buyer and I'm out roughly $1500 in capital costs for 10k miles and a shitload of autox events which is fine with me.

Dudebro backed out, I guess he wanted to buy it as an additional car and not a replacement - so he needed a loan and apparently the bank said :nope:

Looks like I'll have to put some actual effort into this. :eeyore:
