The box is $60 :doe:

This bullshit:

https://www.amazon.com/Axxess-XSVI-2004 ... JTY88CJ0PE

I too would hate to lose BT. It's the whole reason I switched to the aftermarket stereo.
Was going to suggest Crutchfield, but it is still pricey: https://www.crutchfield.com/p_120SVI200 ... rface.html

It was super cheap as an add on with my HU...
Yep, I also bought from Crutchfield for the discounted install gear. That's why I'm so :| by being stuck with what appears to be a dud.

The gold chainz forum has a number of reports of people having issues with these boxes. Sometimes a "reset" fixes them, sometimes they don't.

Actually, I've been trolling local dillers and VW's website and I'm not all that :fuckyeah: on their offerings these days. Not interested in the Tig or Atlas, the GSW now comes with the :jalepenis: 1.4 , don't really want an Alltrack, ARR is too :troywax: , the Arteon is nice but also 15% too big. That just leaves the :turboyaris: which are great, but :iono: if I'm going to go that route again.
Nothing wrong with a GTI but four in a row or whatever would be a bit much.

Have you thought about a G70? Like a Stinger but smaller... oddly enough with actual cars now I feel like Hyundai/Kia are kinda leading the charge. The Civic/Accord/Mazderps are also nice.

You could get like a 230i M Sport or something to mix it up.
Would be 3 GTI's if I went that route, but my Mk4 had the 2.slo so it was barely a GTI, imo.

I don't think the G70 has a hatch like the Stinger, does it? A hatch is kind of a must-have for me. Agree that the Koreans are making pretty nice product these days. And Mazderp is on my distant radar if a 3S ever becomes a thing.

Maybe call Crutchfield and see if they'll discount a replacement if the reset doesn't fix?

the only thing a live chat will cost you is some time...... I'd spell out the problem and see if they can offer any decent solutions

I’d try calling anyway. Can’t hurt. If the thing has a warranty they’ll probably help you with it.

I replace out of warranty products for my dealers all the time, it’s a thing if you call in and are cool.

Well, got the first serious person coming to look at the :poorvette: tonight. Talked to the dude yesterday for an hour on the phone. Super nice guy, older...says he has "more than 10 cars" but isn't sure how many exactly. He's starting to sell stuff and wants something "more modern" than the 60's stuff he has to replace it all.

He already asked about payment and whatnot, so he's serious. We'll see what happens...

Good thing it's only a year lease. Dplac can fix everything wrong with his current order. LEDs, boom boom stereo, and V8.

I'm caring less and less about car shit lately. I think the 3.6 Gladiator will be just fine for me. I've lost interest in the :poorvette: because there's just nowhere to enjoy the thing, so why have it?

We'll see how tonight goes. I'll be shocked if I sell it. ZERO interest for months. I'm expecting this dude to be looking for a cream puff or attempting to low ball.
