Just put all the monies onto the HELOC, I got 1400 left to pay it off. With a little luck that should leave me about 1k left over and above buying Kermit.
But that does include about 500 from selling an ak47 in a box....and does not include the 350 i spent on stuff for the new bike already.... so a wash? I guess a wash.

Carved out a moment to knock the ugly off the car and the new bike.
It is pretty nice under all that funk.
I also sold the last of the grom parts, my garage is Grom parts free. Oh yea the bike sold too, its all gone.
Net results are in. I took a little less for the bike than I had hoped, because honestly i didn't get a TON of action on it. But hey, I got a great deal at 2500, sold it for 2200 and rode the shit out of it for 2 years.
So, with the sale of the bike, I netted $4240 after fees and shipping. I was asking 5450, so I was net about 22% less than my asking on average, and I generally expect to loose 20-30% from my asking
, at all.
After paying for the versys, selling some other odds and ends to clear out stuff, and my work 5 yer bonus I have 1100 bucks left over to get a 100-150 cc dirt bike to sumo out for kart track days. And I still need to fix the mini bike and sell it. Its fun, but it never gets ridden.

Friday...kid at sitter...weather nice... time to go ride!
I did about 180 miles in total.
Went and did some primitive roads in the hills in north LA
https://www.google.com/maps/dir/30.7738 ... e4!1m0!3e0
lots of single track road.
I stayed off the highways getting to and from my destetionation so to speak, but man, I forgot how much I missed riding. Like a real bike, that can comfortably so some distance.
Bike never missed a beat. Seat got a little hard around hour 3.

I was gonna say you should go upwards towards Tunica Hills.
I rode with some buddies there a few years ago. They go up there often. Did you just start the trek there or rode all the way to the start too? Cuz I know you don't live way the f up there past Zachary.

Well i got one tire mounted on the track bike, managed to damage 2 tubes trying to do the rear. Ordered a new tube, will try again.
1st tube was my fault. 2nd one the rim strip failed and allowed spokes to poke through. Guess the duct tape i pulled off was there for a reason.
