Installed the PSR fip pegs yesterday.

Image

I was not impressed that 80 dollar pegs needed to be clearanced because they didn't account for the thickness of the anodizing. BUT, they did on the other side for the "flip" mechanism of the peg. Maybe I'm just getting old but when i drop serious coin on supposed quality bolt on parts i expect to not need to break out the drill.

Pegs themselves are nice, and I like the design.

So was this a design defect or manufacturing defect.

Design. anodizing adds thickness that should have been accounted for.

Well We towed the car with the car this weekend. Towed it so, so dirty...no lights no plate. Last time for that now that we know it works :doe: It actually towed really well.

Image

I did catch a flat on the way home :(

I looks like the tire was underinflated at some point and just failed due to the extra weight/temperature. That said.... the rear tires were under the wear bars as well. Ordering one more :scrooge: used tire off ebay to pair with my :scrooge: takeoff game remaining tire so i can replace the pair. The fronts will go to the back and I should be good for another year or so.

The grom is getting TEH POWEER. Super 125 kit. It now has much bigger holes to breathe through.

Bike is back together except for the plastics, and the air filter. Maybe wednesday I can button it up and go run in the new rings. We will see. Then I just need to ride it to get some miles on it so the auto tuner can do its thing.

Hah, the fact that you can pick the bike up and put it on a walmart fold out table kinda makes me happy.
Are you adding more power so that you can hit higher speeds to get better windflow to keep you cool in this extreme heat?

Towing an air cooled race car with a hatchback with bald tires and a trailer with no brakes or lights? Then doing work on a folding Wally World Table. You sir are Airboater of the Week. Eat that Acidbro.

LOL, we did use the ramp to get it up there. But yes, adding more power for a little more speed, and more power is fun. Its actually a lot more power, it could double the power of the stock bike, stupid OEM's
