I thought of getting a 2.5 Jetta and slap a nice exhaust on it for shits and giggles. But if I wanna make it remotely close to a GTI, I need dat 93 octane tune

yeah, they werent fast. Anything NA is an uphill battle to make power on. Its pretty and stupid. Just get the factory turbo car.MexicanYarisTK wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2019 3:01 pmI thought of getting a 2.5 Jetta and slap a nice exhaust on it for shits and giggles. modding a turbo vs an NA car are ingly different in terms of bang for buck, modding a 8-9th gen Civic Si for about $10k and still getting beat by a minivan Subaru isn't that far off either, because re-tune for every fucking mod.dubshow wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2019 3:04 pmyeah, they werent fast. They did call me and left a message. My sent them the service records earlier today and I should have an update from VW tomorrow. They said they were still working on it.

I think they were going to tell him about a pending update, so probably promises of "soon". ??

we talking NA 4 and v6 vs turbo 4, in context. now ttv6 vs v8? go on and discuss.
Aaaaand now I'm in a poverty Jetta down here in Atlanta. Rubber steering wheel and all.
It was either poverty Jetta or a Sentra. I'll still take Jetta every time.

Jetta > any Nissan that isn't a GTR or Z honestly
