I think they post all the stuff people never qualify for.

This is why I don't trust a lot of these dealer advertised prices on the website. Not only allowed, but encouraged in this case.

I have seen it before... and I always fail to understand it. I suppose it "lowers" the payment by what $8 a month? like this won't make or break anything. Why would you a) want a customer with a sub 620 score, b) offer them additional discounts, you should charge them MORE.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2019 5:39 pmHonestly the dumbest thing I have seen in a while. Using captive finance with a 20%+ interest rate. They make their money back.max225 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2019 5:41 pmI have seen it before... and I always fail to understand it. Their commercials are awful too. Sleazy
Damn dude... shit luck all around. It doesn’t seem like any of the owners on here are fairing too well.
The is back at it's second home, the service bay. Got a brand new Tiguan as loaner.
I'm curious as to what they come up with tomorrow. I'm thinking injectors. They said my spark plugs were fine last time.
Also got an alignment done by fled Saturday. My active cruise control and lane assist still work! We'll see if my is trying to screw me if they come back and say my alignment is all out of whack again.

Diller opened a case with tier 2 engineering and VW is sending out a field rep to look at the car. I'll likely be rolling in the Tiguan for the rest of the week.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 9:37 pmIn4updatesGberg2119 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 7:58 pm The is back at it's second home, the service bay. One step closer to buyback?
I've had it a little over 2 years now but if they can't fix it shouldn't they buy it back while I'm still under warranty? I can't drive around with the CEL popping up every month, there's a chance I can fail inspection. And I think it's related to emissions and we all know how sensitive VW is with emissions issues now.
I assume if there is a buyback I'd have to work on something with them. So another I guess.

I probably should check the build date on it. Wouldn't be shocked if it was an Octoberfest car.
VW is still working on the issue and has to approve the ECM update. Once VW approves, it goes through EPA approval which could take several months. Short term solution is to just clear the codes until the eventual TSB comes out.
how I feel about that.
