They have the little lights

Ron, dramatic license is allowed when dealing with the California DMV. I have to go get my license renewed (vision test, et al) and deal with this Real ID jazz. They should have a rule where if you have a passport, you don't need all the other crap to get a "Real" ID. The U.S. Passport is the ultimate form of ID in America.....it should trump CA procedure.wap wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2019 10:55 pmCorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2019 1:13 pm
I had to renew in person last year and had a weird situation where they didn't mail me, or the mail didn't get delivered. Two weeks before my Birthday I called to ask about my renewal and where my DL was... After 2 hours on hold they told me I had to come in since I hadn't had a picture update in 20 years. Couldn't get an appointment, so I just went in the next day, which was a Wednesday.
Line was already about 200 people 20 minutes before they opened. Took almost 2 hours to get inside, to sit and wait 6 more hours and finally get called 10 minutes before the office closed.
I spent the whole day listening to 6 dudes from somewhere South of the US asking if getting an ID in California would keep them from getting deported. These guys were fucking morons. If you're going to break the law, at least know what the law is, what the penalties are and how the system works.
Worst day in my life, easily. thewas building and I was tempted to tell them I worked for INS just to cut down my wait after they ran out the door.
Re the bolded,Never had a scary health diagnosis? Never lost someone close to you? Never got to the hospital literally minutes after a beloved relative died alone because you didn't drive quite fast enough?

In a state where non citizens have more rights/benefits than citizens common sense does not apply.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Mon Aug 26, 2019 3:02 pmRon, dramatic license is allowed when dealing with the California DMV. That's aggressive pricing.

Over 70 fill ups yes. My 335i averaged 24 over 41 fill ups.. I wonder what the Mini will average... Technically 600lbs lighter than the M3, and 1 less turbo and 2 less cylinders. But the front windshield reminds me of a :wrangler:
You'll probably average around 30. The wife averages about 35 in hers with the turbo three.
My feeling is that the check takes three to five business days before you will see the withdrawal. I think it will work out and you will have the car and the title, but at least the car and may need to make more calls for the title. We have the ability to print out new titles with each buy and sell at the local DMV, so they may just be loafting on going to their DMV to get it printed in your name, and/or will send it priority mail, and/or you will find it in the glove box.max225 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 26, 2019 10:55 pmthanks man. I am fully predicting an epic shitstorm with the dmv.... I didn’t get any notifications about my paperwork being sent out, I’m hooked up with ups so they notify me of any incoming packages... so
