A lot can happen/change in 18 months but I’m definitely not closed to it

You will get first right of refusal if I decide to sell it.

Thanks breh A few things need to be ironed out first but overall that's the Direction.
Lol. Such as? You ordered coal in the mail, which depreciates faster than a Range Rover. Tell me about this ironing at Zhukov Dry Cleaners.

Joining of forces/finances etc. coal doesn’t really depreciate, I looked for used ones with no luck, they were mostly overpriced or crap.

Just for fun, try actually selling the diamond after you get it and let us know how much it doesn't depreciate based on the offers you actually get for it. I believe you will be shocked, as I was when I was looking to upgrade my wife's ring.

:dat:

I offed a ring from a failed engagement early in my 20's. It's depressing how little the stones are worth. Truly just overpriced coal.

Obviously, it doesn't matter if you never get divorced, but still. Epic :wasteful:

Joining of finances pre engagement? You are the real Robot here :lolol:

The finances discussions have certainly been interesting in my case, but things are pretty well lined up and agreed upon at this point. Still obviously always going to be a sticking point at times in any relationship.

Bought on Blue Nile for like $5400... was offered under $1500 from like six places locally. Blue Nile ended up bying it back for around $3800 IIRC. That was by far the least raped I was going to get. No one wants a used ring from a failed relationshit.

I also purchased from Blue Nile similar price and results. Though at the time for me, Blue Nile wouldn't buy it back because I had it for 6 months as if the diamond expired or something. I ended up selling a $5k ring for $1,500 to a local "diamond broker". Major :|

Yeah... they have a 60 day money back guarantee... but I missed that, I was probably right around the 6 month mark IIRC.

Blue Nile allows you to upgrade by giving you 100% value as long as the new rock is 2x cost

I don’t really see it as an investment I just set a bunch of
Money on fire, that’s fine. I have lost 3x on car depreciation if not more. It is what it is.

Not joining per say, but we’ve been in discussion to upgrade the current residence situation. I also don’t want surprises.
