They recently graded the road in front of my office down a full foot and there was still road....then they paved the part of it that carries traffic and left the parking spaces alone.....people were actually parking in the foot deep divot because Traffic cones don't apply to them I guess.....

Either way I can't get past the soccer mom styling. It is a good vehicle but not one for me. I don't have crotchfuit and I have set foot in a mall in the last year.
One is an awesome convertible offroader bro sorrority chariot, one is a mom wagon.
JGC is a very nice vehicle but I don't see why it would be discussed here.

Man the current model 3 pricing is
54k for performance
44k for regular long range
I hate the performance wheels and that this car is essentially a civic out here .... hmm but other than that it seems like the way to go for me. We’re encroaching $5 a gallon for premium.... seems foolish to buy another performance car or suv ... hmm I’d save around 1k a month in payments by going Tesla over current sitch. And since I’m trying to free up cash flow it seems pretty straight forward

I'd absolutely go with a Model 3 in your situation.

If you like the vehicle, you like it. Wrap it neon blue or some shit to be different.

I don’t like having super common vehicles like a beige Camry ? Seems like a normal thing for someone who likes cars. I don’t foresee myself getting another toy car anytime soon.

Then you're going to spend more for that privilege. Scale means cheaper cost. Get over that hurdle. You have to decide what's more valuable...your desire to snowflake or total cost of ownershit.

Says the guy on his 2nd 3 series in california
I dunno man. The model 3 is a pretty awesome car. If you have somewhere to charge it nightly it's a pretty ideal car.

Model 3 with the infrastructure and circumstances doesn’t sound like a bad gig, plus you can use the entry level car as a test bed for yourself to determine viability with ownership of an all electric and Tesla car

Entry level has too many corners cut and a shitty range. From what I gather tesla "recommends" you charge the car at 50% similiar to what some of you gasoline guys are doing. And then you shouldn't go above 90% "full" unless you go on a "trip". So it seems that the 310mile extended range model is the way to go.
My house will charge it at 30 miles per hour, which is perfectly acceptable for now. The most I drive on a given day is around 200-250miles, so I should have exactly 0 range anxiety but I will have to plug it in daily. Which is not a big deal it seems like it takes 5 seconds at most. Our electricity provider actually gives you a $800 rebate when you buy an electric car also, so the model 3 has around 7k on the hood for me... and 49,800MSRP as equipped. There is like no secondary market for this car yet... any model 3 i have seen is 45-60k USED which is more than a new one costs. Bizzare.
I have a lot of thinking to do just using this as a sounding board for now. I still have 3 months plus it seems that I will use the womans acura as a stop gap if i can't manage to get this done by september.

This logic can be applied to the Model 3 as well?
If it is a car that suits you perfectly who cares what anyone else thinks.
