From last night.... this is how you park this car, doesn’t clear 90% of curbs. Sounds epic in parking garages ... need to make a vid of it before it’s gone

:notsure: what is different here. I've had to park like this since 1988 with my lowered cars.

The Z06 and the 1LE stock can't come close to clearing a curb without doing $$$$ damage.

Now, in the :truk: I give almost no dunks and pull in at speed and let the stoppers do their magic.

Every F10/F30 I've driven has front parking sensors that go absolutely nuts if you get within a car length of a curb like that. You'd have to be not paying attention at all or be seriously drunk to hit it. I usually end up getting out of the car, then getting back in to pull forward more.

And they way it sounds its like screaming careful you’re about to hit it you careless bastard. The f10 wasn’t exactly the easiest car to park either

Monday morning gloomy thoughts:

The stock market still in the shitter, part of my pay is tied to it, so making :troywax: decisions is out of the question, since I am not a :derp:
Currently the M3 runs me around 1k a month all in.
A JK would be around ~700
A JL would likely be around ~750-800 depending on how long i'd keep it.
I am still considering a move from the suburbs to a proper place that may not require a vehicle at all, which would perfectly align with my M3 being turn in...

Too many variables :disgust: wish I had an 8 ball... too worried to make a 30-60k :troywax: type purchase to have to unload it for an epic loss 12-24 months from then. I don't like any vehicle enough to keep that long for now... :plac:

Tough to say... even a Civic Sport is around $500 a month all in... not like it is a "cheap" car, if owned 12-24 months

Well, there's going to be no placating you :iswydt: You have a tech bro downswing, a potential housing decision, a potential AZN decision, you're inherently filled with financial angst 24/7, and you have misfortune of being "bored" with cars.

Fully depreciated Krautmobile with V-8 built by the direct descendants of Hermann Goering? Possible downside is what, 2 grand? https://www.ebay.com/itm/2000-Mercedes- ... :0&vxp=mtr The truth is, nobody gives a fuck what you drive in the Pay Area, except you. Joint the party! You already have a gf, she ain't care, she drives a fking Acura. You park at the far end of a techbro lot in Hayward then commute to your Eastside condo. Buy something with minimal downside and then brood in your own personal Politburo and see what the winds of change bring.

It's probably easier to just move in together than to share a car.

Max, lets quit our jobs and open some retail recreational weed stores that deliver.

Recession proof, especially if we figure out how to take EBT.

I'll drive a mile every time. Half is a toss-up but I'll still drive if parking is simple.

Anywhere worth living or working has parking. Don't you have parking at work and home?

Not in sf proper ... it’s like $20 a Day at least at work and $250 a month at the apartment
