Just whatever you do, don’t do it on labor day weekend or in late August. because college road trips causes shitton of traffic. I went on a roadtrip to NYC on nj turnpike during 2nd last weekend of August when I took a break from college, it was a solid 7 hour trip . I’d say middle September is ideal.

I’ve been to portland when I was about 20 with family. Spend 3 nights in Boston, took a daytrip there. Portland is a gorgeous little town.

Called bmw today. Vaping Dickwad forgot I was there and about his "promise to call me when the parts are in", after putting me on two holds he told me he'd call me back. Calls me back and tells me to come in friday morning. :no: I am not driving for 1.5 hrs there again and waiting on a shittle. Trying to determine my next course of action.

So this whole ordeal has now taken a fucking week, my car is not fixed... . I am not sure I am actually going to this again after this, 2 solid try's for getting problems fixed with 2 separate vehicles and they both have been abysmal, regular service however has been fine.

I don't, actually - just haven't had an excuse/reason to go up that way yet. Maine is on my short list for a vacation, want to do a camping/airbnb trip up there, alternating between accomodations day to day.

All of this travel has been done by car except Florida, too.

its really great to go RIGHT before the tourist season starts. not bad weather, cheaper pricing. You will see tons of boarded up houses that are closed nearly 50% of the year.

Car is officially in need of repair, shit took 1 week to set up to get checked out and get parts... and I have to be without a car... for at least 1 day because of lack of loaners and the long repair time.
I'll see if my co-worker can drive me back and forth.

I asked " What exactly is the issue and will this fix it?"
"I don't know man, the tech asked, and it went over my head, but the tech told me that they know a fix and that they don't normally do it, but in this case they know exactly what to do and if the customer asks they'll do it"

yea I am going to start treating these people like the scum like they are soon, and be the ultimate dick customer because I have had it being nice, reasonable and understanding of incompetence.

Just to sum up this amazing experience here.
1. 7 Phone calls to dealershit
2. 2 useless voicemails
3. 3 trips to/from the dealership total, 2 will be on my own dime
if car will actually be fixed.
